crew being able to anticipate when something is about to run low or out of energy/ammo, and will prioritize accordingly.
this could be locked behind general crew intelligence based on global fame or be locked behind crew lvl that increases over time, bought with credits or experience from tasks such as helping with FTL charge, charging sheilds, weapons, using weapons, if a weapon (they are piloting) gets the last shot on the target, ECT.

And how will the crew know a part will be low on energy without any imput beforehand that it will be low,
Also in Multiplayer PvP there isn't any fame or such
also infinite hp shields
This has been brought up a few times, but the basic problem is that there really isn't any way to predict what will need supplying in advance with 100% accuracy. You'd always end up with a system that either doesn't really make a difference, or distracts crew more than it helps.
