Just a medium, eye-catching button on the Main Menu that holds the last save that was saved, with some details about the save either right on the button, or a dropdown. If a dropdown, it would be nice if it had:
Save name
Time Played
Credits
Fame
Snapshot of either your F1 ship, or the last ship selected
#Continue button on main menu

pastel marten
While a dedicated continue button with extra information would be handy, in case you didn't know you can actually use the Ctrl L hotkey (which quick-loads the last save) while still on the main menu. Sounds a lot like what you're looking for. If you're really dedicated, there's even a developer mode option to automatically load the last save on developer mode launch.
