Whenever I try to join a game (or when hosting a game and a buddy tries to connect to it) the game freezes. Eventually the game continues after a minute with the message "request timeout". When hosting and others try to join they get "connection timeout".
Singleplayer is stable. I'm using Win 7 and I have read Tech Support FAQ (all windows updates are installed). How can I fix this?

Try running the game with the launch argument --cores 1 and let me know if that works.
