The thing is most custom-made ships for 10mil range have enough damage to destroy two to three of those regular 1.5mil defense arrangements in one fell swoop. Custom creations need custom countermeasures, not copy pasted 1.5mils.

For the sake of simplicity, there will be a pit with a backup of your ship, no switching

my ships did very well and only lost to devilfish; i'm very happy with that, especially considering that they had 10k cost left over and a bit of aesthetic armour in places, and they beat Blaze's ships which were very similar

Well you see, Trogodlyte system works with the intention of detaching the diamonds part which is effectively junk.

I never got any issues testing in a private game because those diamonds never affected the ludicrous price.
