I'm not even planning to participate, it's just that weapon veto gameplay gets really repetitive for me after a while, same two people nearly always ban the same things, people who enjoy specialization are completely cast to the shadow realm, etc.

@young jacinth actually this is really quite late, but i have a couple points of feedback for the tourney stream
- the bitrate was horrible, as a viewer i could barely tell what was going on. this was likely partly due to youtube compression but the quality settings were definitely also quite low
- i think some background music would be nice, theres a lot of silence between commentary that could very easily be filled with some chill bgm to make the stream feel a lot more easy to watch and listen to

It's frustrating for sure. For example the first phase I got unlucky and my ship didn't hit the sun core. Unfortunately usually it touches it. This is even worse now that the thruster mechanisms have changed.
It was the rules of the turney and I don't get angry about it.

as said, the original intention was for the contests/scoring to be unique enough that everyone has a different design (i think ion did a very good job in that regard, at least compared to the others), with rng being the tiebreaker for same submissions
