Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a complex model consisting of a sphere made of multiple small cubes. I’m hitting a major wall with the Paint Brush tool in the 3D viewport.
The Problem:
I need to apply a smooth gradient/color pass over a specific area of this sphere. However, the brush only affects one single cube at a time.
Even with a large brush size (e.g., 20) and high softness:
As soon as I click, the paint only applies to the face of the specific cube under my cursor.
The brush radius does not "bleed" or project onto neighboring cubes, even if they are clearly within the brush circle in the 3D view.
This makes it impossible to create a cohesive gradient across the sphere's curvature without painting every single block individually, face by face.
My Question:
Is there a specific setting, a plugin, or a known workaround that allows the 3D brush to affect an entire spatial zone across multiple cubes simultaneously, instead of being locked to the individual cube under the cursor?
Thanks for the help!
