#A bone needs different pivot points for animations

Im making animations for my arm panel model (a thing from portal 2).
It needs a lot of animations for different positions, specifically the top needs to swing to different positions. Right now the only way i know to do it is to change the pivot of the group the top is in, but obviously that breaks the other animations. So what should I do in this situation?

I would say duplicate the top part and make the other invisible depend on the animation

and if make it inv does not work try something like changing the scale or idk

or put a group in a group so they have different pivot point
