I realize I'm a little late with this, but I just saw it and you asked for thoughts. One thing stands out to me: the sword appears to have little to no weight to it. Something that large would likely be very heavy and would have a lot of inertia. I would stabilize at least the mid-point (center mass), if not the whole thing. The less the sword moves the more weight it will appear to have.

Hello. This isn't too bad. I tried covering the body and watching the legs and they definitely look like their running. I tried covering the legs and watching the body, and I'm not sure it's coming off as a running motion. I recommend looking at the silhouette of this animation and seeing where you might tweak some stuff. If I applied basic animation principals to this, I would say the arcs, follow through on the sword/right arm, squash and stretch could add some weight to the character and having a bit of pelvic twist will definitely add weight and inertia. Overall, it's a very passable run cycle. Good stuff!

Hey! Saw this animation and relized it was an angel of death from the chainsword. My feedback would be that despite spacemarines being so strong I would make the legs impulse animation much quicker (that will look like they have powerful legs) and also the falling animation also very quick (will look that they are very heavy and gravity doesn’t forgive).
To add dynamism to the pose for the sword maybe having that arm moving behind the body instead of in front of it, as if he was dragging the sword. 🏃🗡️ (example in the image below)

As a fan of Warhammer 40k (I’m currently making a Dreadnought), I really like this! That said, since feedback was asked for—albeit a bit late—I hope this helps.

As others have mentioned, Space Marines are strong and have a heavy presence. When they run, their torso barely moves up and down; there’s very little bounce. I recommend watching Astartes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVXEYksoE6c) at timestamp 4:04, where an Astartes is seen running toward the twin Psykers.

From the footage, you can see how quickly each stride is executed. A Space Marine is described as something that shouldn’t be able to move fast in a suit that heavy, yet you can feel the weight behind every step, frame by frame. Try turning off the volume and just watching the animation sequence.

You can add sounds if you want to later.
