I also think there are too many colors involved. If you tweaked the shading a bit (and maybe got rid of the yellowish tones, though that is a personal thing) it would most likely look like a rusty metal chair/ a wooden chair depending on which colors you use, which could look great. Model looks good, not too detailed but still nice to look at.
