Different texture files shouldn't affect one another at all.
unless you somehow managed to import the same exact texture as two textures and told BB to save those two textures in the same folder with the same name I guess
I was not importing textures but creating them from scratch in blockbench
Let me try using texture groups
Yeah they are still linked
texture 1 vs texture 2. any edit i make effecfts the other
So if you use a bucket tool with the color red one of them it shows that same change immediately on the other too?
just asking cause it will still show the texture that is applied to the element in the UV screen, even if you select the other texture in the textures list
Don't select any cube, then select the texture
Ahh okay I did that
Is there anyways to flip between which texture is being displayed on the model?
Figured it out ty!
I can flip individual cubes how do I change the texture for the entire model back and forth?
Ctrl+A, rightclick texture, click "apply to elements"
If you were in a format that only supports one active texture then it would swap when you click on the texture.
Ty it works!
