#Need help with piglins armor/items

I'm making a new model for the piglins, and everything is looking good in game so far except the armor and weapons they hold. They are displaying where they would on the original model. Is it something related to the jacket/sleeves/pants groups? How would I fix this so I can use a custom armor mesh (or stop the armor from displaying)
