BlockBench crashed randomly when saving project (Linux Mint) | Blockbench | Page 1

I exported my model as a java file and it told me to save the project so I did. Then BlockBench randomly crashed and I lost my model. I put many hours into that model. Can I get it back from the java file? Also please fix this.
