please help! texturing glitch

no matter what i do, every time i try to texture my model there are certain blank spots in the exact same area. ive even tried deleting the blocks and recreating them from scratch. these two appendages never ever ever get a texture. have i reached a surface area limit? please help! ive been struggling with this for weeks
