I have a cannon model that I found on the internet and my aiming system requires it to go up but i'm not sure how to seperate the base from the actual cannon part and how to get it to move upwards bear in mind the model is on the head of an armor stand

you'd need 2 seperate models and have 2 seperate armor stands for that (or you adjust hte display settings of the base so it can hold it in the hand for example, then you'd only need one armor stand to hold/wear the 2 item models)

I could try 2 seperate models with a spawn egg
