Hello there. I want to redesign villagers to make them look like prisoners etc.. I started off with trying in paint and switched over to Blockbench, but its pretty difficult since you can't see the full model finished, just when loading into the game. So my question now is, if it is possible to use a given minecraft data (villager.png) and open it as an 3D Model so i can design it easilier. Thanks so much!

Thanks!
And how about entities like a shield? can they be shown as 3D or just the image? Just asking because there is the possibility to select modded entity
Shields can be remodeled as a normal item model.
Custom shield models cannot support banner patterns though (the item itself can still get them applied, but they just never render on a custom shield model)
