I'm trying to organize the uv map on this model, but the issue I'm having is I can't figure out how to make the vertices snap at the largest ones there. Normally the connect UV faces command works fine on UVs which are supposed to be at 90 degree angles on the sides i wanna connect to, but here it just rotates the UVs to connect them, which i don't want. Is there a fast way to connect these at the larger base vertex? Thanks.

might wanna rephrase your question, it is very confusing
right ok
the trapezoids should be connected on the corners, but the sides shouldn't be touching, which is what the snap does
i want something like the right, not the left
select the square on the right, connect face, then connect it's top and bottom triangle back
can you elaborate? from what i'm hearing, that just makes the two connect like the right ones
connect them one by one
hmmm it does allow group's of uv connect to another single face, then once again i don't understand what stop you from connect them then
yeah i know it can do that, but i'm looking for some way to keep the UVs parallel, where they form a line instead of curving
