The video shows how i lost a bunch of progress
the first photo isnt all the progress loss
I believe it is deleting any new object i add past the 10th
A solution would be nice to prevent this in the future cause it upset me

!faq backups
🖥️ The Desktop version of Blockbench (by default) creates backups of your projects every 10 minutes.
To access them, go to Help > Open Backup Folder, and search for your backup in the folder.
PS: The interval and how long old backups are kept can be changed in the Blockbench settings (File > Preference > Settings > Application).
📱 The mobile/web version (and the desktop app) saves a backup if the model wasn't saved properly before exiting the app.
You can access the backup on the start screen after reopening the app.
Also, do you see anything in Help > Developer > Error Log when it doesn't save?
this seemingly only reverted changes made to the objects that it didnt delete and did not restore the deleted objects ill check the second thing you sent
thank you for your help
here are the only error messages i got
Yikes, could you post those in #bb-feedback-archive and link this post here? By the looks of it your project might be ggetting corrupted
Include the whole error log preferably, and also the console by opening DevTools using Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + I
i removed some because they seem to only serve as file paths to my where my model is kept
Just censor them using Snipping tool (you seem to be on Windows so use Windows Key + Shift + S then annotate on it)
try save as and pick a new location, does it still occur?
just did same thing happens
are you running a installed version of blockbench? and if so where is the target location of your shorcut
does it still unable to save if blockbench is "run as admin"
Don't run it as admin, that can make things worse...
i did but it saved the same way it was
only happen on this model? and what blockbench version?
only this model, and its the most recent version
i can poarbly copy all of the assets to a new model and go and restart from there
is it possible i just got unlucky with this model?
when i copied and paste the assets in the new model file it once again didnt save properly
however when i just added random cubes and tried it with that it worked fine
ok what i copied the assets from one of the backups instead and i think its working fine ill close the post once im 100%
after doing a bit more work i saved closed out and once again it didnt save properly so even when creating a new model when i copied the assets from a backup the new model after a bit of time stopped saving properly
You should make a new help post regarding your specific issues.
