why cant i paint part of my model?

trying to model a sphere rn, but part of it wont let me paint it even though the rest of it lets me. i can paint it on the unwrapped section but when i try painting the model it doesnt work

cant paint the dark spot

Try locate the uv in your texture, see if the shape is correct, and try paint on your texture directly instead of painting on model.

If above don't work, see if you accidentally made that part on a upper layer.

i can paint on the texture but its hard to find the part its on on the texture thing

so i wanted to paint on the model to find it

in edit mode, when you select the face, the uv panel on the left will tell you where it located
