Is your UV mirrored and symmetrical?
Wait how I do I do that? Because the legs are symmetrical when mirrored but the body some how isn’t.
I encountered this same issue once, my guess is some action during my modeling cause one side asymmetrical even tho they are.
Try delete half of that meshes face, turn on mirror modeling, give your mesh a move(even a unchanged move works) for mirror update, connect the middle face back if necessary, then turn mirror modeling off, try mirror paint again
^ that's the best method, either that or cut and pasting the model to get it to mirror model
Yeah so the legs are mirrored just fine is it because the body is one object? Cause even if that’s the case the eyes don’t mirror either
I’ll try that still struggling with using the mirror tool correctly
Oh should also mention this, mirror painting might also depend on your mesh pivot point, check if its center
Oh ok I’ll look at that when I get home that might be the reason that
Also when painting how do you paint objects to look clear?
wdym clear?
Like when you paint or having and object be see through
set the opacity of your brush
Ok thank you! I didn’t know if I had do something to the mesh before that as well good to know!
So I got one last question. I tried merging these smaller separate spheres to paint but they don’t really mirror whatsoever when I try.
