#How to disable UV remapping when I use "mirror model" to edit/move a vertex?

I have a model with a texture that has no mirroring. Sometimes I need to enable "model mirroring" to edit/move some vertices, then disable it after. but when I do this, the UV remaps to become "mirrored". How do I disable this or revert it?

I’d say that you should finish modeling then exit Mirror Modeling then do the UV mapping. Is there a reason you need to do modeling and texturing in parallel?

I see what your saying, and yea I will have to redo the UV's once I finish. however I'm fairly new to modeling, so I go through a lot of trial and error to make things look "right". in this case im trying to model a head, and its easier to see if the shape of the head looks "right" with a texture applied. tho i had the same issue occur on the body as well, so its just a little annoying

I'm having this exact same issue. Modeling is easier when you have a base texture, but as soon as mirror modeling is enabled it deletes half of the UVs without any clear way to undo it.
