#How should i go about modelling hands?

Currently, my hands are kinda just orbs. I'm making this art for a godot game, and one where the player character (the thing i'm currently modelling) regularly holds a wide variety of different objects. I assume I should put some bones in the hand, but how many, and for what?

I’d recommend looking at the anatomy to get yourself familar with how you’re going to place the bones, but with your art style I don’t think having hands rigged is necessary
