I'm trying to understand what this Face Orientation view is in the "View Mode" options. I feel like all these faces should be green, and when I delete and recreate a face in the mesh, it appears to turn green, but only on some of them. What are some ways I can fix this besides manually re-applying faces? If these faces are red at this stage, will that affect anything?

To clarify, I haven't applied any UV maps or textures, I'm still early on in the modeling process and trying to understand what this means. I can't seem to find any documentation online for this

Could you flip the fsce (search through Action Selector)?

OH! Perfect, that seemed to help! Yeah, Invert Face seems to correct that issue! I still don't understand it's purpose, but I'll go through and invert them now.

Essentially, the face seem to have initially generated such that the face actually faces towards the inside of the model. By flipping the face, you quite literally flip it, such that it faces outwards.

So in essence I need to have my faces facing out for when I apply my textures?

The texture will be on the side the face is pointing in (unless a double-sided face), so you do have to make sure your face is oriented correctly if you want to see it.
