i know how to make models and use them for the mincraft java edition textures and stuff but how do i animate them/ where do i go to do it

Blocks & Items cannot be animated, the best you can do, is animate their textures

There are online tools to create animations through workarounds.

One created a texture that only displayes one model at a time so u can get animations, but they can be a bit janky. Theyre also not ealily controllable.
