Ehm... I think a channel like #general-❲not-a-help-channel❳ would've been better suited.
Anyways, playing the game isn't necessary to make models for it.
Regarding testing your models for plugins? You should at least know of the restrictions of such plugins, and always ask your clients what plugin they plan to use. Whether you help them to add the models to the plugin is up to you, but from experience I can say that many server owners have as much knowledge about this stuff as a beanbag would have.

Oh i apologize. I did check in that channel earlier and saw the above bot posting a recommendation to this channel. I will do that next time.

  • But that is good to hear, thanks for the answer about playing the game not being necessary to make models for it

On the note of testing models for plugins - gotcha, so it's not necessary to really help them as far as setting it up to be ready for plugins like model engine or mythic mobs? If not that would be perfect for me.

Those channels here are more for modelling help itself, your question is only loosely related to that.

Like I said, that's up to you, ask your customers in advance whether they want that or not, if they want don't do it for free.
Just make sure that if they say that they want a model that works with mythic mobs, you don't do anything that makes this impossible.
