This weekend the program was working fine, but this Tuesday (yesterday) when I try to open the application nothing happens.
I never had this problem, I've actually never had much trouble with Blockbench, so I was wondering if there's anything I can do.

Did you try waiting for a minute and opening it again? Maybe it was updating.
If you still cannot open it, you can try manually reinstalling it https://github.com/JannisX11/blockbench/releases
