Is it a block?
If yes the answer is, make a smaller model.
Or better said, do it like it's done for doors and beds, and split your block and model into multiple parts.

well, entities disappear once their hitbox is out of your view
... well, and render distance ofc, but angle based is more likely about hitbox not being in your pov
yeah, it's because the hitbox of the invisible armor stand (or whatever entity ModelEngine uses by now) is out of your view, so the model it wears/holds stops rendering too
iirc the bone pivot point is where the head of the marker armorstand wearing that (part of the) model will be
a marker armorstand has its (0 sized) hitbox at the center of its feet though
so moving all pivot points up by like 24 or so should work (and also eliminate the problem with parts turning dark due to the armorstand's feet being inside a solid block)
