Scaling Hexadecagons

I’ve seen people that made a hexadecagon that was the wrong size go into transform and use scale but if I select it and use scale it seems like the cubes are individually scaled down and it looks weird.

Transform > Scale or the resize tool?

transform to scale, Edit: I tried again with a hexadecagon made with the shape generator plugin and it worked so I guess I’ll use that

They probably scaled based on a different pivot point the first time
