A quick guide how to import Blockbench models from other projects
You need 2 Blockbench instances open to import the model
There is no way to get the animations of the Vanilla mobs from Blockbench. I'm not sure if there are other ways to get them for Optifine.
Select the elements, right click them and go Texture > [texture name]
However, what were you trying to do? Did you just want to put the exact same model in another format, or import your model into another project with another model?
Ohh, that wasn't necessary in that case. You can just duplicate the bbmodel on your computer and open that
so can i discard this then?
Yeah, just go to your original model, save it as a bbmodel if you haven't already, then duplicate the file on your computer
ive been saving things but the textures keep overriding
like if i save one the bbmodel is replaced with one of the other 2
will the animation default to it if i just put it into the game? ive set the pivot points
