I also have the jem
could it have to do with me saving it to get rid of empty space on the texture while i made it?
@somber mountain it’s just the texture, apparently you didn’t save your texture so you need to do it again
The model itself is intact
!faq backup
(Result for "backups")
🖥️ The Desktop version of Blockbench (by default) creates backups of your projects every 10 minutes.
To access them, go to Help > Open Backup Folder, and search for your backup in the folder.
PS: The interval and how long old backups are kept can be changed in the Blockbench settings (File > Preference > Settings > Application).
📱 The mobile/web version (and the desktop app) saves a backup if the model wasn't saved properly before exiting the app.
You can access the backup on the start screen after reopening the app.
@somber mountain ^ hoping I am not to late and that you're on PC.
You are a lifesaver. I’ll be able to check in a bit
It saved the model and some of the painting, but its better than I already had
How should I save this now that Im finished? @pure kite
I do recommend to always save the bbmodel (Save Project) as it'll also store your textures.
When you're ready to use the model, export it in the format you need & export the texture (right click texture > save as)
Ok
Will I be able to learn animation with this model?
And if I want to make this a new mob I'll have to use something like McCreator?
yup!
i think it depends on if you have bedrock or java/optifine
unless you mean a whole new mob instead of replacing one
then im not sure
I would never recommend MCreator, but yes, if you want a proper new mob you'll need to make a Mod
👍
