I'm a Geo/Texture/Animation artist for multiple marketplace partners and I specialize in high quality animations. I have just completed a huge pack for a vendor and my rep reached out to me and said that the animations he is implementing are looking broken. I asked him to elaborate and he sent me a video of my work looking crushed as if the entity model was squishing into a ball. After a lot of investigation and troubleshooting I discovered that when the animations are implemented, they are combining the idle animation along with what ever animation plays after: "shoot, swing sword, walk" etc... Is there any easy solution to this issue? My rep from this partner tells me that there is no other way to implement animations without the idle animation present also. I'm looking at over 80hrs of animation work that needs to be either redone or saved here. (see attached video)
#Animating from Idle

Idk if there’s a difference between acs in marketplace
But
Can’t they just stop the idle animation when the others are playing using an rp AC?
If this entity is implemented in Minecraft Bedrock any way they want, they 100% can modify how the animations are implemented.
You can tell them this is how you intended the animations to play out. If they say they cannot implement the animations like this, it is them that are lacking the technical knowledge (it's really not very complicated, you could actually direct them to this Discord to get help lol).
It could also be that they wanted a bunch of entities to follow the same template animation-wise, for stylistic or time-saving reasons. If they did not indicate that the shoot, swing sword and other animations should be additive to idle or walk animations, it's on them.
Looking at this big piglin's animations, it wouldn't make sense to rework the shoot animation to work additively, the movements are too contrary with the idle, so pivoting and doing a little change in the animation controller would be the best option imo.
Thanks so much y’all, I will definitely take a look at this and get back with you.
