#trying to rig a face

Really depends on how you want to animate it.
Want it have a quick and instant emotion change? Use separate bones for that
Want it to look natural with proper face movement? Rig the eyes and add a mouth with interchangeable shape
quick and instant actually, my problem is with the uvs not being perfect
What do you mean by UV not perfect?
it doesn't fully alight with the original, it could be a little bit bigger than the original face or something and it bugs me out. and i wanna know if there's an easier way of doing this
i thought of using mesh for the face only tbh
How about this
Make a separate bone for faces only, and make only the expression there
make the base head faceless, then give the expressions using the separate bone and cube
my child is gonna be faceless, oh god
only faces
i'm thinking of the faces too, do i just like, make them into one big sheet of expressions or do i separate each one as a file
bc i thought that there's be times i need a custom expression
Making them into one could be better if you want to use multiples
I think the only times you would need single ones is because you might need to find a certain face in a big image
a file with multiple faces could work, maybe fit about 6 and then make another file for more expressions like bundles?
yeah something like that could work
separate them or bundle them, whichever ones you prefer
i prefer bundles ig, lol
