Did you set a binding for your root bone?

#

Get rid of the rightItem bone. Right click root, Edit Binding, and select Main Hand

What does it look like now? @snow sleet

"Item" is correct

#

Sorry it's main hand in upcoming versions

And you're sure you don't have any other animation applied at the same time, on your attachable?

#

Can you try by keeping the scale at 1? And send screenshots of it in BB, and in Minecraft

#

seems like it works yeah? your Minecraft skin has slim arms so it looks like it's a bit more on the outer edge of the arm, but it's in the same position

#

I'm not sure if the scale keyframe was messing up the position though, can you try again with a bigger scale value like 4, and positioning the weapon in the inner corner of the hand, to see if there is a difference?

#

but maybe it was just that, I can't quite tell from your first screenshots

#

yeah, something is different in the order they are applied or something

#

like, between Blockbench and Minecraft, Minecraft scales the position offset with the scale keyframe, while Blockbench does not, something like that

#

I think add another group to your model, nest the geometry inside of it, and use that group to scale the weapon,. But keep rotation and position adjustments on the parent bone

#

That may work around that

#

Keeping the geometry near the origin is also a good idea in general, and you might wanna position like that to simplify how much your have to adjust it

#

You'd have to adjust it again for first person of course

#

hopefully the workaround works, but yeah no problem, happy to help

#

Oh, also keep the pivot point of this child bone close to the center of the weapon

Scaling and rotation isn't an issue, you just need to make sure your root bone has the correct binding. It should also give you are warning if the binding is not yet, although that only works if it detects that the model belongs to an attachable file.

#

Can you send a File > Export > Share?

#

yeah

#

Works for me

even scaled up?

#

with or without the additional child bone?

#

weird, I don't see what was changing the offset before then. You didn't modify the player geometry or add any model, or animation on the player entity file?

I recommend setting it from Local to Global in the top toolbar

MC Bedrock doesn't have UV rotation so texture extrusion is recommended in the upright orientation instead of flat.
