[Solved ]Why isn't this mesh symmetrical?

Inverting face doesn't work. One side convex, other is concave.

The fix is to invert one of these highlighted vertices

You would have to explicitly create an edge in between. Select the two opposite vertices, then press Shift + F to connect them with an edge
