Yes Please! If you're not making your own texture, but are using vanilla, use them and do not waste texture space by combining them into a larger texture for absolutely no reason.
Minecraft combines all textures in the game into one large texture file, and by doing that,
you're occupying the space of 4 normal textures, without even needing to do that.
(That's also a copyright violation in this case but 🤷)
