do you mean the UV window that is usually in the top left of the screen?

Also is this a block/item model OR a 2D skin?
Cause it can't be both, but you selected both tags.

yeah, you dragged out the UV window, hence why it's not there anymore
move it back there and press the ^ icon at the top right of the UV window
