How to change block's item in inventory

Hi, I've changed my red nether brick wall and amethyst clusters block into custom models.
That change isn't however reflected in the inventory item.

Is there an easy way to change those specific item's inventory textures so I can see them changed in my inventory?

Okay, I've found out a fix for the brick wall:

After adding a red_nether_brick_wall_inventory.json I can edit the item.
