So I have made two generic block bench models and I was wondering if I could upload them into a Minecraft bedrock edition add on so I could play with them or would I HAVE to remake them on the Minecraft Entity Wizard

This should work:

  1. In your existing models, use File -> Convert Project (keep the tabs open)
  2. Use the entity wizard like you would and get to the stage where you're editing the model
  3. In the model, use File -> Import -> Import Open Project to import your other models into the Entity Wizard workspace.

Seems unnecessary for what they are trying to do

If they have polymesh bones, convert wont work unless that feature was recently added and I missed it. I assume if they are in generic, it's because they are using polymeshes. I did request this feature in BB but Jannis didn't think it was appropriate for bedrock style is my understanding.

Not necessarily but could be

True, they don't have to use the guide, but atleast they know it's there if they need it.

Which did you use out of curiosity? My method is an in-bb method but Cyber's is a very good detailed guide for general bedrock stuff

I used yours but whenever I actually activate the behavior pack and go to spawn the mob it doesn’t spawn the right model

It’s spawns the basic white box model that I put for the appearance but I deleted that and replaced it with the model I wanted to use
