Well, I can't say for sure about anything that happened while Benimatic was the sole dev, but what I can say is that when TF entered a development lull due to Beni running out of time, 3 separate devs decided to try make their own ports. One day, they asked to open source TF, Beni agreed, now TeamTwilight was made with AtomicBlom, williwillus, and Drullkus, also the forks merged into one and that's the codebase now.
Tama joined about a month or so later by making some contributions. I don't specifically remember when Killer Demon joined, but it would have been the same time, and he's more the builder and ideas man. About...a couple years later?...I decided to fork the mod and port it to 1.15.2 and then promptly got added thanks to my resume with another dimension mod, and also being a resident gremlin in this server. GizmoTheMoonPig and jodi both came along at different times but for thr same reasons, they took the code, made some pull requests, now they are here.
