From reading the posts above. Some modders are regrouping to a new server. But as of right now VOID is handling it internally and the mods on a new server are standing by for VOIDS approval/sponsorship of the server. If you need mods I'm sure they will still be uploaded regularly to nexusmods

Edit: yes, it feels bad that it suddenly just got deleted and I know you are frustrated. A lot of modders are very unhappy too, that is why modders started the new server. It was the sole decision of the previous owner (the reasons are debatable and can be found on reddit and the new modding discord; this channel is a place to discuss modding and help people to get mods) so nothing can be done about it and no discussion here will get back the old server - there was especially toxic discussion in the first hours after the deletion. This is unworthy of the RoN community we (hopefully) all want to be. The modding community is focusing on rebuilding a place for mods on the new one with a new owner, which is the most productive way to go forward right now).

Those are the publicly visible things. For me it doesn't matter, what more details we are missing now, important is to have a place for mods run by someone who just doesn't suddenly delete it.

Depends what the mod does and don't know the second part. If it's a skin, only those who have it installed will see it. If it's an AI change, it'll impact the AI for everyone(?). If it's something that uses unreleased content like inaccessible weapons, everyone should be able to see you use it

I don't mod personally. This is what I've just heard. But people usually recommend better AI mods to deal with the snappiness/jank of enemy AI. I guess you could also try inaccessible weapons to get access to the P90 and stuff. Besides that, I dunno

for installing: most mods are .pak files that you "install" by copying into \steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks folder. you "uninstall" by deleting them from there. Just don't use two mods for the same thing (aka two skins for helmet). As for which mods: It comes down to taste, I personally only use a reskin to old swat look and the custom maps. Have tried the AI mod but I like that harder difficulty of vanilla

I believe its in the content folder

Once you find that, manually download mods from nexus and just drop the .pak file from the zip into the paks folder, and that's it

No you need reshade. Look at the description on the mod or the readme In the download file

If you mean by installation, it's very easy. Most mods just require you to download a .pak file, which you then place into the "Paks" folder of RoN.
I recommend getting the SWAT 4 Voice Replacement mod since I like the voices much better than the vanilla ones.

An amazing small map would be a recreation of the Bank Heist from Payday 2, except we are the swat team responsible for putting down the heisters. The map is relatively compact, and would have 4-6 suspects who are the heist crew.
