hey. I just got the game and it was running smoothly until I realized I could no longer reach the options button. my curser is stuck in a limited space. I found the problem to be because the game's cursor is much slower than the cursor on the computer; so when I move my cursor down the computer's curser reaches the bottom before the one in the game preventing it from moving. please fix this. When I shoot a suspect he appears dead. I report him and then I zip-tie, he is then back on his knees and I can report suspect in custody. Does not happen all the time but often over the last days. Is this known? Do I need to provide a log or something?

Certain events when playing the game cause frame rates to drop to 0 for about 0.28 seconds, these events are random and I cannot pin exactly what it is that causes this. Once the "skip" of framerate starts, it then does not stop for the duration of the session and occurs about every 15 seconds. Happens during ultra graphics (40FPS) settings and high graphics (100FPS) settings. All hardware is up to date on software drivers.

Was playing Caesar’s Dealership Singleplayer and got into a firefight with about 5-10 AI underneath the second floor that connects the room with the fish tank to the car showcase room in the rear of the building and opened a door to the left and my game crashed.

This happened a few days ago, I don’t know how you can really look into it but it gave me a critical error prompt like Tamer’s.

Same issue, with Frames Dropping to 0 for half a second and then coming back in.

Seems to trigger mostly when enemies are nearby, sometimes aim down sight, but also random as well.

I ran some monitoring software and it seems like it causes the GPU to spike in usage and heat at the time it happens.

I've tried reducing frames, setting etc, doesn't seem to matter.

Really makes the game unplayable, when you can't trust it not to stutter as you step through a door.

I think I shot a civillian who was behind a closed metal door and an open door next to it, (it was a double metal door) so half of his body was visible. We also had shots coming from that side for that reason I am not really sure if I really shot a civilian.

Just to narrow it down - DirectX11 has more issues with this IME than DX12

I’ll try and use dx12 exclusively and see if there is improvement.
It does put me off playing though. I tend to solo maps without the ai (leave them parked at the front door or as a blocking force if it’s a big map) and this gets me killed so often.
Got one friend to buy it who luckily doesn’t have the issue, but can’t really recommend it to any one else in my group while this is a regular occurrence. Which is a shame because it really is the fps experience I’m looking for.

Both DX versions do it and in multiplayer. Usually only in certain sections of maps where you can have a micro stutter, or just a general slowdown.

Yeah it’s why I’ve given up on multiplayer with randoms. I’m too unreliable. It’s weird it seemed to happen after the update that brought the new maps.
The 7-11 map was okay and then after the update that added to the level scenery it became one of the worst.

I wanted to change my character and their voice was the same as Judge. I then went though every other character and they all had the same voice. I performed a full wipe of all directory files and re-installed the game, just to have the same issue. could this please be looked into and fixed. Thank you.

All switched off. I'm replicating the issue on Twisted Nerve with HW Monitor on the other screen. No power or temperature spikes on either the GPU or CPU, no major changes in memory use either.

Okay I have switched every graphics setting off, and reduced everything to low. (Game looks like an FPS from 15 years ago), but so far, no stutter. As soon as I put the flashlight bounce back on as the first test to see what might break it when switched back on, the stutter comes back intermittently. Little bit of an issue since the light bounce seems to make the difference between a room been visible and a room been a single small circle of light like it's a horror game lol.
This concludes my free testing tonight. I'll come back to it later and see what/if anything else causes it when increasing the settings.
But yeah if you want to fix the issue, just play with the graphics like it like it's a game from 15 years ago on a modern rig 😆

For some reasons. On a client side. Ram usage went up from 2-3GB to 8GB (Or even more since I have total ram as 32GB and the task manage reported that it was being used around half of them) This happened after I went to the basement room filled with photos. And my fps went down to less than 10 fps (CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x + Ram 32GB Bus 3600 with RTX 3060 12GB) A host still has normal fps without any issues.

This still happens even you are on the scoreboard. Main menu or even in a lobby. Memory leak issue it seems.

Single Player is utterly unplayable at the moment. The last time I picked the game up and tried to play a good six months back it felt like your companions were useless. Now I have the opposite problem.

They seem to respond to things that haven't happened yet and my usual first indicator that a suspect with a weapon has loaded in is my team opening fire. They also have a high rate of killing civilians as well as not granting suspects time to surrender. The enemy AI is nearly as bad, as they seem to be popping in and out of existence. I was on nightclub, I rounded a corner, checked a booth, looked away, and then got one shot by an ear-hole shotgun blast from the booth that was somehow no longer empty. No idea what's going on with it but it's insanity. Doesn't strike me as 'this was made this way intentionally' so I'm reporting it as a bug.

getting random extreme lag spikes which tanks my fps for minimum 2 minutes, my internet is fine and packetloss tests + speed tests run during stutter event come up normal
sometimes lasts long enough that i just have to restart the game.
stuttering will persist into esc menu, and then into the main menu if i manage to quit.
other players in same match may get some lag, but none of them seem to get it nearly as bad as i do for whatever reason, so i know it's a me issue.... but it's not a hardware issue, nor internet issue as far as i can determine.

Voice chat takes a second or two to activate. Not internet related, control inputs and text chat are all fine and not lagged, only voice chat

In the main menu, cursor is only able to move around the top left quadrant of the monitor screen, unable to choose starting options.

When invited to a game, the pre match lobby is fine, when map loads, the gun in pushed to the low right quadrant. You can still perform all movements and actions but your cursor is focused into the low right.

That's not a bug that's NVIDIA Reflex setting in graphics. Atleast i think it is, thats my best guess anyway as it does have that functionality

theres a bug i have named KCC (kill child complete) which has been here for a bunch of updates now its doable in the crack house in barricaded suspects its slightly inconsistent but can be done by 90% of the time heres a screenshot of the bug showing me having soft completed the mission by killing the kid

Sometimes when used the ballistic shield does not actually stop any rounds and when shot will instantly kill you no matter the calibre used. I have tested it before with a friend and a single round of 9mm JHP was able to ignore the shield and instant kill me via a shot to the chest whilst wearing full steel plates. Other calibres will also do this, I thought before the AI was just shooting out my feet or something similar, but after testing it out, sometimes the shield just does not work at all.

There is a bugg that I think it's easy to fix. When you upload mods from mod.io to the game, alawys give you "Mod detected: Unofficial score" when you finish a mission, so that never register any score.

I'm not sure where else to put this other than bug reports, but I ran into a problem downloading mods using my steam login and not the mod.io login (I don't have an account with them) and after downloading one map, it had asked if I wanted to restart or resume finishing up the download of other mods, I clicked resume. After that one map downloaded it doesn't show the map in my subscribed page or even able to play it in a single player lobby. Now every time I try to download another mod it's saying I have some other mod in queue that I cant seem to find how to stop. Ever since then I've tried verifying/ re-installing on different hard drives/ updating everything. Now I can no longer subscribe to mods and every time on bootup it only boots up at 1FPS and it takes 5 minutes for the main menu to load, then its asking me to restart the game for a mod to work correctly even though my subscribed list is empty. If you have subscribed to a mod, like the Swat and AI Overhaul that the author deleted first day, it will remain in your subscribed list. Following the steps in the support ticket to remove it from the library page does nothing. Steps in modding chat does nothing as I had never launched the game since subscribing, so the appdata pak folder and public mod folder don't even exist.
This has been a VERY long standing issue with mod.io, that I've encountered a lot in Snowrunner, and even before that game. Maybe you all can actually get them to fix it.
Functionally, this has no effect in my game. It never downloaded and doesn't have any effect. But it's definitely not intended behavior because the unsub button on the site errors out BECAUSE the mod was deleted.

Gun disappears when you're cuffing the suspect and somebody kills the suspect while the animation is playing

Description: When you arrest the suspect and you start cuffing them and the animation is playing and somebody kills the suspect while you're doing the animation your gun will disappear and reappear when you select your pistol and scroll back to your AR. Workaround: Arrest a suspect, start the cuffing animation, let another teammate kill the suspect whilst the animation is playing.

In "hostage rescue" mode, on the "Port Hoken" map, this dirt crumbling is actually transparent (located after the outsides stairs on the right of the "void shipping" red-neon building). Even though this was a while ago and you may or may not have fixed it already, my friend was just having the LowLevelFatalError Line:2610 issue and it turns out there was a mod hiding amongst the .pak files in his game. He tried verifying and even a fresh reinstall but when you uninstall something through Steam it doesn't generally remove extra files you add in yourself so the mod stayed. Though I'd put this here incase anyone else gets the issue lol (mod was Jugulator's movement mod)

Ok so a few issues that I have noticed and I know some have already been listed before but just in case they weren't I'm just going to say them all. So in meth house I constantly get unauthorized use of force in all modes even when I shouldn't ex. a meth head running at me with a knife who refuses to stop should be reason enough to shot. Its coverd under mod.io and there you should find folders wich do have random numbers on it. So you have to go through every folder and seach for that one mod (inside the mod.io folder).

Not sure if the bug is fixed with the hotfix that just popped up, but if you run into the issue where you are saving slots and modifying loadout crashes to desktop here is a workaround: Go to %localappdata% > ReadyOrNot > Saved - delete this folder, verify game cache. It'll nuke your configs and saved settings, but will reset to all default and fix crash. Hotfix has fixed this issue it seems

Every time I attempt to access my loadout this crash occurs. It began after returning the game state from the Supporter Edition to the regular game.
No mods used.
I can play the game with current loadout as well as access my character screen to change clothing and face, but not the loadout at any of the loadout terminals at the station.
I have verified the files, uninstalled and reinstalled, and updated my graphics drivers.
Not sure if this is related, but I also noticed that when I go to change the ammo type, instead of the regular ammo UI it shows a jpeg image of a rifle.

One of my friends had this problem. I had another friend figure it out. Here’s what he said and it worked.

1. Uninstall Ready or Not from Steam

2. Go to the file explorer. Go to "This PC". Click on the "C:" drive. Click on the "Users" folder. Click on the folder that has the profile name you're signed in as.

3. Look for a folder called "AppData". If you can see it skip to step 5.

4. On the top bar of the file explorer, click "View". Check the box that says "Hidden Items". You should see the "AppData" folder now.

5. Search inside of the "AppData" folder for another folder called "Ready Or Not". Delete that entire folder.

6. Reinstall the game.

Also mod.io I just don’t trust anymore because of that problem. I honestly just use nexusmods. Haven’t had a problem with Nexus yet.

AI's killed come back to life!

So Ive noticed since purchasing the supporter addition, The AI would present means for deadly force, get absolutely obliterated by the team and I. Then I go for restraints and they just sit back up handcuffed and are alive. Even after reporting them deceased to TOC. I do get extra xp for them being alive but I mean.... I literally mag dumped them.

Reproduction steps: Tested it on multiple maps and modes. Seems like an AI issue.

Missing/inconsistent rules of engagement regarding abuse of dead bodies
Melee striking the dead body of a suspect or civilian provokes a one-time unauthorized use of force penalty of 50 points. However, there is no such penalty for shooting a dead body. In the case of civilians and suspects that are DOA at the start of a mission, neither melee nor shooting incurs a penalty. It is unclear whether the intended behavior is for there to be penalties for the abuse of corpses or not, but the currently mixed behavior is not intuitive.
(This was tested on the 4U Gas Station and Wenderly Hills Hotel maps using the main branch of the game.)

Farm has multiple areas where you will get sucked through the wall or get stuck inside of walls and corners. When you go left, directly at the entrance to the building is a glitched wall, directly right of the entrance. There are other corners and vine areas that you get stuck in as well

Couple lighting issues on Hospital, in the men's bathroom on the starting floor has the most jarring I've found so far, but there is a decnt bit of bleed and what looks like misaligned BSPs in the staircase (looks like the stairs are slightly out of line with eachoter, and the smaller section in the top looks like its rotated about 3-5 degrees too far to the right), other lighting errors mainly revolve around single doors, best example I could find was in the bottom of the staircase (image 5)

As far as the stair alignment is concerned, I can tell they're misaligned bc in the third and fourth image, you can see two sets of slopes that connect at different points to the horizontal concrete sections (stairs look like they connect to eachother at differing heights)

whenever i try to load into the game i get a blank screen with the mod menu. i have the normal void interactive loading screen but then it goes blank with mod menu. i have removed all of my mod.io mods, should i do the same for nexus mods?

Edit: i just removed my nexus mods and same thing. i can hear the normal menu ambience sounds but i still see the mod menu, i tried moving my mouse around to see if i can still hit buttons but its not working.

5: modified the squads load outs to have two lethal and two less lethal officers. All officers spawned with lethal and less lethal weapons but could NOT use the less lethal launchers. The command couldn't be used.

I have tried everything that I was able to find online, this includes: uninstalling through steam, downloading and installing again, deleting mods and saves through the crashreporter.exe, manualy deleting every modio folder and pak files (except the 0-20 ones ofc), cleaned every game folder in appdata and local appdata. reupdated the gpu drivers with clean installation, windows 10 is up to date. I even deleted everything RoN related on the laptop and manually copied the game files from my other pc where the game launches: nothing, I still get the black screen and have to close the game through task manager.

When i unsubscribe from mod.io mods in the Ron game, it does not delete the mod by the time i restart the game. In order to remove the mod completely, i first have to unsubscribe from the mod within mod.io in the Ron game, close the game, then go into the mod.io folder to delete the mod. Please fix as this wasn't an issue before the 1.0 update.

-SWAT AI gets stuck CONSTANTLY (will not respond to orders/unable to move, forcing me to reset the level)

-Stuttering issues that weren't present prior. Could get a smooth 120 FPS before. Now I hit 90-100, not a big deal but the game stutters randomly

Context: After wedging a door I tell the AI to stack up on the door, after telling them open and clear they just stand there idle. Usually the ai will state that it is jammed or blocked, but with this they just stand there. I have to manually remove the wedge or make them breach with a device. Shouldn’t the AI automatically remove the door wedge?
