Ive always preffered Swat 3 over 4. The whole thing was more "professional".
A level took time and patience to fully do, you needed to know if given suspect is dead or injured, if you said it wrong, your team corrected you. The whole game was a huge challenge for its time.

I simply don't understand why other franchises do not apply the SWAT formula to some of their games.
Not the potential non-lethal confrontations but the team tactics with AI and detailed orders!
Talking about 1st person shooters. (So no Door Kickers now.)
There was Star Wars Republic Commando but that is about all. There were maybe small hints of this in LOTR Shadow of Mordor/War but that was more babysitting. Just like now trying to defend your officers from terminator suspects.

Swat 3 was like chess, Carefully calculating your moves, the AI was good. They told you everything, the voice lines i think are still the best. The sound of the AK as a kid made me scared of it. Its beefy sound still makes me move a bit.

you don't need to use safe mode so can ignore that, between dx11 or dx12 it just depends which can give you better fps performance- for most PC's dx12 will give you best fps performance but if your pc is having issue with dx12 such as game stuttering or crash then use dx11.

update: I just did it and I didn't get the achievement. I removed all the ammo from my primary and dumped it into my revolver, I also heard that you can give the AI magnums and they can help you but for the challenge I took away all their ammo so it was all me. I used nothing but the magnum, laser pointer, night vision, and a shield.

Im not sure why it didn't work, could be because the game for some reason might think I have mods installed. I say this because like 1/10 times I load in coyote it says that "i am loading in a modded map" and it takes forever. usually when this happens I just exit the game to avoid waiting.

I don't really understand why people complain about the suspect AI so much, I don't think its the AI framework that is making the game to feel as unfair as it is right now, I think it's the technical side of map design that's causing the problems, and how some of the maps have tiny little gaps that AIs are able to see through and put them into alramed mode more often than they should

• The reticle is brighter
• different color and contrast
• The flashlight is aimed away from the reticle.

Not nearly as many photons are being reflected back toward you as you are putting out in that direction.
