I don't know if this is a common report but I am on an AMD Radeon Graphics Card (my drivers are up to date) and when I hit play on steam the game starts to launch and before I get to the main menu the game closes completely and what's strange is that the game's "crash" does not give a crash report. I have no mods, verified the game files, and have tried launching in different modes like DirectX 11 or 12 and the safe modes doesn't work either. I have launched the game in administrator as well but this also doesn't work. Is there a fix I'm missing or is there another issue.

thats the thing i dont have a screenshot since its the game and a matchmaking error that caused us to get kicked, we wouldve thought a game like this would have logs to check what happened+ we couldnt get in a party after we got kicked so we wouldve thought the problem was alr known

Practically no game would have that, storing such information would flood any server and take unnecessary space.

Furthermore this game has no anti cheat, because there is no pvp, so there is no need for anyone to check what people do.

Is there any way to make AI restrain the civilians after you die, it’s been twice now that I’ve died to the second last or last enemy, and all the AI had to do was restrain civilians, and in both situations, they just plan ignored them while walking past them multiple times before just stopping movement, is this a feature or something that is being worked at?

I get a constant game crash, when loading ANY map on my Save File 1. I am able to load into the Police Dept. no problem. The crashing upon loading into a map occured after I recruited and filled all the empty officer spots on my roster. For context, this save file was extremely old, and had LITERALLY ZERO officers hired. I'm heartbroken and hoping someone could help me, because this is the file I have S Ranked all maps on.

Hello Void Support Team,

I’m reaching out regarding a persistent crashing issue with Ready or Not on PC. The game is crashing to desktop consistently without throwing error messages or crash reports.

Here’s what’s happening:

-The game launches normally.
-In single-player, after selecting a mission and when the game attempts to load the mission, it crashes to desktop.
-In multiplayer, once I am in a lobby and ready up, or when the mission is about to begin, the game crashes to desktop.
-The crashes most often occur right after the briefing room / mission acceptance phase, as the mission is starting to load.
-Occasionally I will receive this error but it is inconsistent:

"Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."

Steps I’ve already taken to troubleshoot:

-Forced the game to launch using DirectX 11
-Launched via Steam Safe Mode
-Confirmed there are no mods installed
-Verified game files through Steam
-Updated my graphics drivers
-Ensured Windows is fully up to date
-Uninstalled and re-installed RoN from Steam

Despite all of the above, the issue persists and occurs nearly every time I attempt to play.

Here are my specs:

Installed RAM: 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)

Anything that's even remotely lit up is bright as the sun, and anything that's even slightly shaded is pitch black. The bloom is also insane, when I walk out of a dark room into sunlight everything goes white. I've looked through the options for something like a gamma or bloom adjustment, but there doesn't seem to be one. Is there any way to fix this?

As Miśka said. It does not matter which platform you buy games on, the game runs on a network. That network can be quite literally anything they choose, it can run through Epic servers, Steam servers, Microsoft servers, does not matter. We use Epic to handle all connection in order to allow crossplay.

Nah, not forcing any AA modes. They should all be set to “Use application setting” or whatever. This is the only UE5 game that seems to look this bad. Even though there seems to be no AA (TAA), there’s way too much shimmering and dithering.

IDK if anyone else has experienced this! but my game is really really buggy and laggy since the release, ive had it quite some time now and before release it worked quite well and also before the update that made console crossplay possible. ive put my settings down, but it doesnt really lag in the graphics kinda way, because looks wise its perfect and works normal! but most of the times without a warning or whatsoever it just massively black screen crashes my pc. and if it does its always while in loading screen. either while starting the game itself, or while joining or leaving a mission, and its quite frustrating now... and i know my pc isnt the best. but still.

Im running a 5080, 32gb ram, IC Ultra 9 275HX and this game runs like crap. I’ve tried overclocking, bottlenecking, so many different fixes online that people have said and still, I average 50-60fps on max settings if I’m lucky. And I see people with far weaker systems do the same and hit 140+ fps

As Miska said, this happens on other games sometimes as well not just RoN, for example I have no problems with RoN and GB when I use DLAA, but with other DLSS choices, it looks weird on both games
