Hello community, I need some help with getting the game to work. My buddies bought the game recently on Xbox, they are in the same room as they live together, on the same model of xbox. One of them crashes any time he tries to launch any map, the other guy has no issues getting into the game. The guy who crashes can play other games (like borderlands 4 and Age of empires 2) for literal hours so I don't think there is an overheating issue. He has uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times already

This was my headset before and would crash the game any time in SP or MP when I was on a party got new headset and works fine

So tell them to try to play the game without a headset plugged in and if it works even solo and they plug the headset in and any noise would make it crash then yeah headset is the issue

There have been a known issue in the past where replays setting didn't stick to a chosen value upon game reboot, a bug which caused it to be inversely flipped or something.

Other than that it is possible to have issues with save dir, for example if it is not writable (on PC it sometimes gets Read Only flag).

The mounting point is no longer the bolt/lock, it was moved higher up the door (still the same side), so like Miśka said, aim higher on the door with your C2.

On my 2 computers with RoN on it (running full ultra 180 fps)
I got the same issue on both, my game takes minutes to load (SP or MP) and lot of lags whenever I have any mods from the in-game library.

To solve the lag I need to clear the mod folder via launch option on steam.

Do you know how can I play with a mod without lag please ?

I use a Gamesir G7 SE and the controller works perfectly fine with any game I’ve played but it’s it just straight up doesn’t work with RoN I’ve tried all of my controller profiles that and I’ve tried the default one and it just doesn’t register any input. 1. I keep getting kicked mid game. I know it's not the host because it's my friends and sometimes my game just closes.
2. No matter how low my settings are, both DX11 and DX12 have very very laggy textures and jittery loading times/textures
3. I have insane ping on servers in both East (my location) and West Even though i have 500Mbs down/up and 13ms server ping on fiber.

Also ping on replies as this server is a bit chaotic with notifications

heh. figured it out. yeah, new career helped, but as soon as i try the quick play with my old (few month ago) equipment set up game still crash. took a closer look to the equipment. It looks like the crashes were caused by old gear equipped on my character from a previous play session (several months ago). The ballistic helmet model showed the headphones clipping through the helmet texture. I simply removed and re-equipped the helmet, and the visual model corrected itself. After that, all modes started working normally again.

DX12: Loaded into HQ in quickplay and it froze for a bit and loaded into 23MB/s it froze i hear the truck loading sound for about half a second then it crashed.
DX11: Loaded into HQ in quickplay and i loaded in fine, When i loaded into 23MB/s it crashed immediately, No time for any freezing.
Safe: Laoded into HQ in quickplay and loaded fine aswell, loading into 23MB/s then it froze and crashed.

So the issue is still ongoing.

@fallen fossil I hade the same issue like you, this and other games crashed while playing after some time. I meanwhile tried everything I found on the net. Deinstalled an ASUS tool, deinstalled Nvidia tool and so on and so on. Finally I found recently the solution by deactivating XMP Memory in the Bios. Search for it on the web and try it. Since then no further crash in DirectX 11 and 12.

So I have come here trying to figure out what is up with my Medal of Valor achievement before and was linked to a forum room that talked about a .sav file for achievements. The forum ended up being a dead end. I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to get the achievement to pop as I have done all of the S ranks twice now. Do I need to just keep playing them over and over til the game accepts the S Rank? I don't even know which one I am supposed to do lol. ahhh so a lot of the times I seem to "melt" and my movement becomes "lean left and lean right" and when I press down, I sink in the floor whenever I join my steam friend's lobby or my personal lobby when I hit "Continue"
I don't have any mods
Strangely(For moment, I may have jinxed myself) when I join a random Public multiplayer that bug doesn't happen(yet)

ok, then go onto the game page on steam then go to the "settings" icon on side of your screen then go to "properties" then make sure your on the "general" option then find the section "launch options" then you should see the first option which would be "selected launch option" and click on the arrow down and scroll down until you see "play safe mode (no mods)"

ok, then go to "settings" icon again then you should be on the "general" section again but this time go to the "installed files" section this time and go to the last option which should say "verify this games files are installed correctly" then click the button next to it saying "verify integrity of game files"

As you own it but some you cant like state of decay 2 you can xbox play anywhere as thats a thing for some games

I am not entirely sure, without any crash log and already doing the basic troubleshooting that is related to mods, I am afraid I don't know what else could help you. One thing comes to mind but this should help only when you actually load into the game, but I guess you can try it: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames and delete ModData.sav

If that does not help, then I am sorry but I have nothing else I could help with
