What's up with PS5 version not allowing primary weapons to be used in multi-player? No matter how many mags I give the MP5 I spawn in with 0 ammo for it. 16 matches and not one primary weapon I've tried to use spawns with a single mag.

Once you have them added if you or one of them starts a friends only lobby you should see them online in the main menu from there just click “join game” once they are in the HQ. I play with a buddy on Xbox and this how we do it.

Experiencing a bug with the presets. When I create a new preset it begins to add them in random nonsensical order after a few presets are created despite them being numbered, But what is even more aggravating is whenever I edit and save a preset it will delete a different preset that I already have created. Based on this message the .\Content\Paks\ is cleared only of mod.io, but not of other arbitrary sub-directories. Most people just put the mod paks next to the game ones but the game reads any subdirectory in Paks so some people like myself just put it in sub-folder for easier organisation.

You can disable it or try to swap the DLLs for newer versions (anecdotally that fixes the issue while retaining the ability to use DLSS).

That U suffix on the SOC name means Ultra Low Voltage, essentially battery-optimized ultra-portable and these tend to only have iGPU.
The CPU part of it is actually OK, since 8th gen is the first to be any good since Sandy Bridge 7 years prior and has the expected core count for given branding tier but it's the GPU that's going to be an issue, especially with 3 year old drivers.

@small windI've found out how to solve the intro problem. I guess it's the configuration file left in the saved folder of the previous version. Some parameter Settings in it cause startupmovie to fail to play normally. Just delete the entire file and run the game to regenerate the folder. Will it be fine

Move that folder somewhere else (desktop or whatever) & then try launching the game again. This folder includes your settings/etc so do NOT remove it (unless you wanna lose/redo your settings).

If that fixes it, then we know it's some issue related to the configuration files.

On Xbox series X and one of my buddies get's DC'd from multi-player quite frequently, we've all got open NAT and good speeds and low ping but regardless of who hosts the lobby he DC's alot, this is also the only game doing it everything else we play works without issue. If it's loading (but apears to be frozen), just let it run for a while.
If you're using the DX12 version then the load times are kinda long at first (because it's compiling the shaders).

i cant load into my old save. every time i do, the game freezes and i need to restart my pc using the irl button, it genuinely brings my computer to a halt. my computer is more than capable of running games like war thunder, beamng, and civ 6 on high/ultra graphics, and has the RAM to boot. i dont understand what in the world the game is doing that keeps freezing up the entire computer, but i am extremely disappointed since my loadouts and all my previous mission successes are on there (i beat every mission base game and dlc)

Because if you're using DX12 then it needs to recompile the shaders which, depending on your CPU, can take quite some time.

you’re not alone, been tryna play with my friends for 2 days on ps5. deleted the game and reinstalled, unlinked my epic account and relinked it, turned crossplay on and off. ive been hit with “cannot join expired session” when joining via the little menu in the main menu an infinite loading screen when joining via EOS or PSN. all my friends are playing together but im stuck. PLUS when attempting to find any public server, regardless of having all 3 difficulties selected not a single server is found.

If not mistaken, I did read somewhere that selecting all 3 difficulties at once can lead to that issue "no server found".
Try selecting only 1 instead.

I don’t see that on the save, but I definitely pressed the X to enable Iron Man mode. I watch it enable when I started the game and it said I was embarking on an extremely dangerous journey.

No clue how this is for Gen9 builds.

Something tells me the issue you faced has been answered but i was not able to find it.
