Generally speaking do not use the Frame generation override in the drivers since it enshitifies the entire screen, the in-engine plugins available in-game only enshitify the 3D scene and leave the UI untouched and crisp.

Hello, I have a problem:

When I'm in the Main Menu and wanna start anything, Commander Mode, Practice Mode or host a Lobby, the game always crashes in the loading screen, just when the headquarters are about to appear or when I hear the first HQ-sounds.

But when I start Training and then return to HQ or join Friends in a Lobby, everything goes well.

Anyone had this problem before? Or anyone knows a solution?

Anyone know why I could be experiencing micro-stutters/micro rubberbanding when moving? I have a decent amount of confidence it's due to a mod or weapon loadout save (when modded). It only happens to another person when I host, or to me when they host. (doesn't happen to everyone)

I haven't ran many mods or crazy mods, just standard Gunfighter, No Mercy, and at some point a "No Crack for AI" mod.

It's most likely an issue being caused by something outside the game.

Possible fixes:

• Make sure your mouse drivers are up to date and try reinstalling them if you have the latest version.

• Try closing any mouse software programs you may have installed. I.E. If you have a logitech mouse then it would be Logitech G Hub.

• Close any custom input mapping / macro software if you have them programs such as reWASD and AutoHotKey.

• Check windows accessibility features for mouse make sure you don't have any settings enabled that would effect your mouse buttons.

Steam cloud is just cloud storage for your save data and such at most if it was brought on by steam cloud it would be because your save data was reset mean your settings potentially being reset but if you used the default mouse buttons to begin with then this wouldn't matter. It is not going to be a steam cloud issue that caused this.

You most likely have another mod that's conflicting probably one that replaces or modifies heads. You can try fixing this by changing the number after 'pakchunk' to a higher value; I recommend just adding more 9's.

First : When I press T it works but it does not show the name of whos camera it is like for example it used to say Songs camera.

It would only be a problem if it is enabled. Also if you guys have all the same mods you should be fine but mods that can kick others out of the lobby as they're joining are usually weapon & attachment add on mods so if whoever is hosting has one of those equipped I'd suggest trying to equip a vanilla weapon with vanilla attachments. You can verify it's a issue with mod overall just by both of you see if you can connect while in safe mode.

Best I can recommend is to make sure you have it installed on an SSD and try running the game on DX11 if you're running 12 or vice versa and see if it's any better there. The upcoming update will be bringing more optimizations to the game so hopefully it will be more stable then.

I remember similar tablet bugs being the case in the past but I think those were patched out, they were a thing back at initial 1.0 release Iirc. I don't really know any fixes for that. essentially, at the start of a MP lobby tablet works for everyone. But after the first mission, the tablet becomes uninteractable for everyone except for the lobby host when you're in the police station/pre mission. The tablet works again once you're in the mission, but will brick everytime you re-enter the police station

There are 2 main reasons:
Either the window (renderer) got destroyed but the process still runs, in which case the process will be moved from Apps to Background processes. This might be related to a game issue, or mod.io
Or, it's not the game that didn't terminate properly, which means it's Steam or whichever other child process injected into the game (overlays, WeMod, ReShade, malware, proxy drivers, etc.).

I don't really play the game with a controller, and I use an xbox controller. But the best advice I can give is to right-click the game in Steam, go to Properties, then Controller, and make sure Steam Input is selected as the override. If it's already selected, try disabling it to see if that makes a difference. Also, make sure to restart the game after making these changes.

I've checked the crash log and it seems GPU related, but another thing I wanna point out is that the log indicates that your friends PC is using the integrated graphics as primary GPU instead of the dedicated one.

Yea I mean all those mods seem to be up to date. If you move all those mod files out the paks folder and launch the game in DX11 or 12 and it doesn't crash it will confirm whether or not it's a mod in the paks folder or not from there it would be up to you to narrow down if so as it seems likely to either be a broken mod or a conflict.

Well booting in safe mode and moving mods out of the folder is essentially the same thing but it means one of those pak mods is the problem and it's either broken or conflicting with another causing the issue and you'll have to narrow down which one yourself there will be no need to nuke your save data or purge the rest of your mods if you can find it.

My video card load does not rise above ~50% on some missions (e.g. Valley of the Dolls, Leviathan, Mirage at Sea). Everything is fine in other games.

Guys, I need help playing the game, I have a notebook with an rtx 3060, 10th i5, 16gbs of ram and regardless of whether I select 1080p, 2k or 4k, the game always has fps drops and does not get fixed in 60fps

It's simply unplayable, the fps drops and freezes all the time, during shooting it drops to 30fps or less.

I've heard the game's not the best optimized. You could pull up either msi afterburner or the performance thing in windows' game bar you'll probably see gpu util dropping or something. Could also be the CPU bottlenecking.

I'm still stuck on a temporary 1050ti so I'm not reaching levels of performance where a drop like that would be noticeable lmao. I don't have the experience yet. Maybe wait for someone more knowledgeable, you can also cap the fps.

RON uses peer to peer servers so sadly there isn't much that can be done to try to solve the issues, only things you can try is having someone else host,also make sure no one is using VPN's or anything that might hinder or alter network traffic. In extreme cases it still carries on maybe restarting router etc etc can maybe hellp

Navitate to "Allow an app through firewall"

cause on DX12 it can take longer to load into maps because the game compiles shaders and everything to make it look better etc etc but DX11 should avoid this for people who struggle running on DX12
