Yeah check your graphic settings, the game litteraly told you it is running out of VRAM to use, so the GPU clearly struggles with running it

Good day guys I need some help please. I have played the game for about 6 hours previously had to step away for some time and a month later when I tried to open up the game it is completely busted. I have tried opening with DX12 and DX 11, safe mode uninstalled an reinstalled cleared saved files I believe and still the issue continues. (Note I do not have any mods installed i never even tried)

So what is happening is this. I open the game see the first to title screens and as soon as my cursor changes from the default white to the red ingame cursor the game locks up I can hear the audio but there is no responses what so ever I don't see the characters on screen only very faintly can I see The DLC icons in the top right otherwise its black screen. Well there's no fixing it your only only options are to do it all again or use a 100% save from nexusmods.

There's multiple reasons why it could have happened most commmonly were people losing their saves after the Dark Waters update on December 10 and those who lost it due to crashing mid session.

The only prevention measure to take would be backing up your files manually which you can do by copying the contents located here: %localappdata%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames somewhere else.

If you goto Nexus Mods, you can actually download a 100% completion thing that isnt an addon mod, and it will unlock all outfits/achievements, I personally dont like using mods, im always a base game sort of guy (Aside from DLCS) so i like to go unmodded, so if youre like me who doesnt like using mods to get what you want, you can use Nexus to download a 100% save. If you need any help with it im willing to help btw.

Well, the only other two launch options aside from dx11 & dx12 are safe mode, which will run the game without mods even if they're installed and clean mods / save data. So yea, if you launched that, that would be the reason your save data is gone.

Hi, I bought Ready or Not: LSPD bundle from G2A, and for couple of hours I have watched almost every Youtube video, because I can´t turn on the game. At first I will get an error which was about that they know that I can´t turn on the game and to report and send logs, but the second one I get is error about "Clear mods and save data? This will clear all mods, all saved data including settings and loadouts. Are you sure you wish to continue? Yes/No/Cancel." I tried turning it into admin mode, reinstalling the game (but I haven´t deleted the information that was saved in so maybe I can try it once more but with deleting everything.), turning on Ready or Not from folder. The game window (the small one) pops up then I get an error but nothing more. And I tried changing when the game starts in DirectX 11/12/Safe mode/Clean mods. Someone, please fix/help?

But in all seriousness, I don't know but there are several ways to lose your entire progress in this game. Most commonly, people have lost it either after updating to Dark Waters or from crashing mid-game.

The only countermeasure you can do is to manually back up your save data by copying the contents of: %localappdata%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames and placing them somewhere else.

Valley of the dolls is after Greased palms and before Elephant on the mission list so if you have those missions unlocked and really don’t see it in between them then yes it’s a bug.

Quick play is progression based like commander mode and if you have all missions unlocked on it there should be a total of 18 missions not including DLC missions which are in separate tabs.

So it's most likely a outdated mod that you have on. To fix this you can either do the tedious task or removing all of them then adding them one by one to see which ones the problem child or search them on the vortex mod website and see which ones are dec 21 2024+ updated.

They have to be post dark waters update date on them so they need to be up to speed with the games current version.

Hello. Anyone having issues with having extremely low fps in lobbies with friends?

I remember playing the game with FSR on Performance and Medium settings in 60-70 fps, now I'm playing FSR UltraPerformance, Low settings and getting 35-50 fps. Not sure why, my GPU is also not "heating" to the point where it reaches in other games. For example, in other shooters my GPU reaches 70°C, in Ready Or Not it's only 62-64°C.

I'm not searching immediate answers, just curious if it's only me.

Any other scene is potentially CPU bound due to AI/physics and networking threads.

We are trying to play Ready or Not with five people, but issues with voice chat are making it nearly impossible. Local chat doesn't work correctly. Often, someone can't hear the others or can hear only some of them. Restarting the game seems to randomly change who is audible and who isn't.

The only solution we've found is to significantly increase the local chat volume and avoid using team chat entirely. However, this causes the game to lose its intended coordination and purpose.

To summarize:

1. Team chat always works well.
2. Sometimes random players have trouble hearing clearly on local chat.
3. The issue is that certain people become extremely quiet in local chat, despite team chat functioning normally.
4. The person experiencing local chat issues changes each time we play.
5. Sometimes a player can't hear anyone, or they might hear only two out of four teammates.
6. Restarting the game randomly determines who you'll hear clearly on local chat and who you won't.

Why did my game not open until I deleted my nvidia folders? This appears to have been a known issue for a while now

Afaik the only problematic file in the nvidia folders is the sl.pcl.dll and this only applies to some people not everyone and I have no idea if there's a known reason why this file causes a problem with some people as it was a player was the one that discovered the fix which has been pinned in the pinned messages.

Definitely just a nvidia issue then, and can't find any sources that suggest nvidia fixed it with a driver update, google just throws out all the sources for how to fix the issue with it.

Well I checked what the file actually is and seems to be related to DLSS and Frame generation and it's mentioned that's if it doesn't cause crashing issues it causes visual glitches so I wonder if it's also the reason why the DLSS is broken in game.

I have purchased ready or not on steam but every time I load and play ready or not it will not allow me to fire with my left mouse button, i have a 4090 GPU and other games run fine, I have tried uninstall and reinstalling trying another mouse and even changing the fire command in settings but nothing seems to work, please can you advise me on this. Same with any other gun/tool? If so go to %LocalAppData%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\Config\Windows and remove Input.ini file

Hey guys I'm pretty sure this issue has been reported before but whenever I open any door (or enter any room tbh) there's usually an insane lag spike and it looks like textures/models are loading in, any help?

Idk why you’re replying to a message from last year but their issue was resolved. They were most likely on the supporter beta branch back then and it was not up to date for the latest version of the game. It has long since been removed now to avoid this problem.

As per why you have this issue, well, there’s only so many possibilities.

For starters, I would make sure your ready or not is actually up to date with the latest version.

you shouldn't have removed ping sliders. I'm sorry for my attitude but couldn't access game I bought on day 1 alpha. I fixed my problem, disabling cloudflare dns warp(only ip encrypt) worked but I live in turkey. so it's essential, and RoN is the only multiplayer not working with it

we're going through very tough times, basically I'm restricted out of internet the moment I disable my cloudflare warp. RoN is only game giving me this problem

There is no ping limit, matchmaking is tied to your download region in steam settings
