Hello guys I got a question about the game performance.
I cannot enjoy playing the game on a steady fps like 40+. Normally I get like 90-110fps but with the last update(1.0) my fps is shrinking sometimes down to 30. Effects like bullet impacts, muzzle flashes and general lights are a problem for my pc for some reason. Pre update this wasnt really a problem. I already tried alot of optimazation but nothing works.. hope someone of you knows :(

So this might be just a weird instance but I was playing with my buddies and we went through Elephant and after we completed it, I noticed that I could play any mission before and including Elephant. You could try this and attempt to beat Port Hokan and MAYBE the missions prior to that will unlock in practice mode? Personally, I think if we go into practice, every mission should be available but it follows your progress in Commander mode.

I've seen this too in Practice and MP, it's a bug that I think the devs have to fix. You should also consider what gear you're packing. If you have NVG's then you would need a helmet as I don't think they worked in a strap system for just nvgs.

Even if you want to reinstall the game you need to do a clean install and those steps are included. If you just uninstall the game from steam, some folders won't be deleted. Unless you want to install it to a different disk then you have to do those steps unfortunately

Clean Install

Right click the game on Steam, select manage, then select open local files. Afterwards, go back to Steam and select manage, then uninstall the game on Steam.

In file explorer, go back to just steamapps\common\ and delete Ready or Not

Hit the windows key and type %localappdata%, then delete the ReadyorNot folder

Idk if I speak for anyone but myself but if I lead my team into a fucky situation like entering a room from the middle like in Ides of March with that big ass room in the middle I should expect casualties because you're entering the room from the middle and can get shot from way too many angles. As soon as I got a read for the room I saw there was a corner entrance that seemed a bit more "doable". I changed my strat to enter from that side and we killed it.

The game is buggy and the AI can be a bit too much but also think about the kind of "people" you're dealing with. Park Homes has drug addicts that have little to no training so they are prone to surrender easily but can do some radical stuff like pull a knife or play dead or hide.

In Sins of our Father you are literally pinned against rogue Secret Service Agents who would technically be trained to the 9's to deal with any threats such as a SWAT Team.

Look into the groups you're fighting with because in more cases than not, you will be not only outgunned but you'll be fighting near-peer/trained forces that in a real life scenario could stand toe-to-toe with a typical SWAT force.

I have a little bit of experience with AMD cards and such and I don't know if the problem is directly related to you changing out your RAM as there's not much to it unless for some reason you installed the RAM incorrectly or your Motherboard doesn't actually fully support the type or RAM you installed.

Do you know if any other games are affected by the RAM getting changed out?

That's what it sounds like to me, when it comes to drivers, you don't always need to update everytime they push one out but it's good to hop on at least every couple of months or so to keep on top of them just so you don't have issues with games. Sick, do you know how your GPU and CPU are performing while in game? Theres a few tools you can get to view that kind of performance or you can access the Geforce overlay if you have their GPU. Some people have been saying that the game is under utilizing their components so it could be that.

i cant change my loadout in singleplayer and in multiplayer. Ill change my loadout, but when i exit the loadout screen it'll just stay as what it was before. Have you attempted to save your loadout as a preset?

Maybe the game is just reverting to the default loadout because that's what you had selected. I know theres a bug where you copy the host's loadout which will be address in the next update but for SP it should work just fine.

Hey there, it could be because of optimizations that the devs need to make to help the game run better. You could try the different launch options to see how that works, you should also make sure your gpu drivers are up to date.

Also, if you go to the game and right click on it in your steam games list, you should see properties and there should be a spot for betas that includes the previous version of the game I believe for testing purposes.

If nothing works it would just be something the devs need to improve through updates which one should be out next week so stay tuned!

I would say if that doesn't work. Go to your %LOCALAPPDATA% and delete the folder called ReadyOrNot, and then verify integrity again to be thorough and safe.

Yeah this is a known bug that the devs will probably address soon, it's just a conflict of actions and the game doesn't know how to handle getting shot while in the animation of healing.

Doesn't work even with steam cloud disabled. Looks like the game doesn't create save files. Basically the commander mode is borderline unplayable for me, since it really acts weidly. Randomly switches to practice mode, defaults my loadout after I enter the mission which happened a couple of times, and both times for some reason "return to the station" icon was unclickable, so the only available option was return to main menu

Yep, and nope. Game is fully verified, no mods installed. What I found odd is even with steam cloud disabled there is only one single file in /saved/savegames folder, which is steam_autocloud.vdf.

I'm having wild either video or processor problems with both ready or not and Post Scriptum/squad 44, and regular squad. It's my understanding that all three use easy anti-cheat, but I've also heard that how unreal engine interacts with Intel 10th and 11th generation processors causes issues. Is this a possible source for my problems with Ready or Not, and a handful of other FPS based on Unreal. I can handle a lot of other games that I'd consider decently system intensive, and I used to be able to run RON, PS and squad fine, but over the past like year or so they've just fallen through the floor performance wise. Can't play any of them at all, and all are suffering from similar issues, low to no frames, freezing up, or soft locking my PC to the point that I have to power off and on to use it. hi so ever since the new update my game runs like shit. i used to be able to run this game on my hdd with max graphics no problem. but now even on my ssd with medium graphics and frame locked at 60 i cant run this game. everytime i get into a gun fight my frames dips and my game lags even in singleplayer with ai is anyone eles having this issue or know how to make the game run smoother?

Ever since the 1.0 update the game is just constantly crashing, often just on launch, and also just constantly while playing. I have all my drivers up to date, both CPU and GPU, have reinstalled the game, have reinstalled windows, have verified files, and have a more than capable PC. I don't know what the issue is, as the crash reporter doesn't even have information on the crashes. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? It also seems that singleplayer works a lot better than multiplayer. I can play a mission or two in single player before a crash, but with MP it crashes almost immediately upon loading in.

2070 Super

AMD 7800 X3D

32gb of DDR5 ram. I also have NO MODS. Fully fresh install of windows with formatted drives ensures this. Game worked fine before the update. Now I can’t even load into the main menu without a crash.

months ago, i wanted to replay titanfall 2. i redownloaded it, couldnt launch it. assuming it was a titanfall thing, i assumed it was an ea thing (the only variable that changed was origin becoming ea launcher) so i asked for help, etc etc nothing worked, and i gave up. nothing else to try. verified files reinstalls reinstalling launcher switching to an ssd, nothing worked. so i stopped. but NOW its happening for another game, ready or not, as well. I have no clue what to do! all that happens when i click launch it goes to the blue x stop like its playing, then switches back to play (cause it didnt launch)
