Hey, I have been having issues with RoN the past few days. I have updated all my drivers, I am on the newest version of Windows 10 and reinstalled the game half a dozen times. Unfortunately I still have the following issue: I start the game (doesn't matter if DirectX 11 or 12) and it crashes almost instantly. After that the error/bug report window pops up without any specific error, just that RoN "encountered a critical error". I have this issue with and without mods.

Uh yea those are visual artifacts so I would check while playing ready or not of how much it's utilizing of your pc pay close attention to GPU but also watch for CPU and memory as well.

Visual artifacts can be a sign of a problem with your graphics card(meaning you might need a new one) but I had this happen to me before with RoN and the cause for me since I have RTX 3080 was that it still had the hidden ray tracing settings enabled which are suppose to be disabled and I disabled them and I haven't seen any artifacting since.

i need help with stuttering, i have tried everything but disabling discord/nvidia overlays, and a fresh reinstall, (i would like to avoid a fresh reinstall if possible) i have reinstalled the game twice, and lag/stuttering only happens when im in movement or when not in combat, i have capped my frame rate several times, but the issue persists, any help would be awesome!

Yea in-game mod manager is broken and fails to deploy most mods. It is recommended to download mods manually through nexusmods or mod.io website, you can read how to do that in #❓modding-faq-archive

I would suggest unsubscribing from them in-game and after you close the game relaunch it and select the third option when launching to Clean save data/mods before installing manually.

DX12 is recommended for better stability using touring cards. Any card that doesn't should use DX11. Most modern PCs can support DX12 and a lot of gaming companies optimize their games to support it

Why does sometimes my game just stops all of a sudden and doesnt appear the crash message? Like im in a middle of a intense shootout and the game just stops for no reason and i cant get out of it

Still new here looking for assistance, completed every map up to Sullivan slope lethal obsession. Completed the map multiple times and still no grade is posted and no other maps or missions unlocked...... If support could explain, thank you

The score is currently bugged will likely be fixed in 1.0 release(next update) and the missions that are unlocked are the only missions there is currently there is no unlockable missions.

Okay, so to add to your answer. There were more maps/missions when I first downloaded Ready Or Not after not playing for a while I came back and noticed that my completions were all gone and there were less missions than when I originally downloaded it

Yes those maps were taken out in the Adam update and from what I understand are being reworked.

Sorry if this has been asked many times before but whenever I launch the game, it just crashes right away, I have tried a fresh re-install and even factory resetting my pc and downloading it and it just crashes again, any help on this issue would be amazing and sorry if this has been posted somewhere else before I have tried to look but lost my glasses and im half asleep

• an update to this now when I verify my files it says "corrupt update files" I press retry and verifies etc and then goes back to saying "corrupt update files" and it keeps going on in a loop of that

You likely have an issue with where the game is installed and/or an anti-virus interfering

Internal drives are recommended since there are reports that external drives do not work with RoN, dunno why. SSDs are also recommended above all as long as they are internal

so i downloaded ready or not as a cracked repack for a reduced downloading time and i bought the original game but steam can't seem to quite verify and replace the old cracked files

i cleaned some files in the directory but when deleting "Custom.dll" and "StubDRM64.dll" as well as the dlllist.txt the game says something about dlllist not found and can't launch the game

would be appreciated if anyone at least showed me a similar screenshot of the directory

How do I make the steam shortcut of RoN launch using the DirectX 12 version? I know I can make it launch on direct 12 by default in the library but I'd rather use a desktop shortcut
