@unreal finch The AI nametag bug stems from an issue with the loadout screen. Switching between default and custom loadouts will change or outright remove the SWAT names in-game in some cases (the names can become invisible if you use saved loadouts). Since I reset my loadouts to default, all of my officers are named 'Judge' as well, so believe that's why the same is happening to you. I don't know of a fix for this bug, but it's really bad.

Every time my friend joins my game, he can play for about 5-10 mins, then he gets the error "Connection to host lost". We've tried verifying the game, firewall, and a PC reboot and the error still pops up, almost exactly 5 mins after he joins every time. When he hosts I can get in his game for a solid 5-10 seconds before I get kicked. Is there a fix to this?

anybody that could help me with the game? just bought it, fresh download, when i boot up the game it gets to what i assume is the start of a splash screen and then my whole computer just like turns off. Does it both for dx11 and dx12. Not like CTD or blue screen, like everything goes black, i'm not sure it's turning off completely ~~since the fans keep spinning ~~ fans do in fact stop spinning and some leds stay on, but it's basically like it turns off. Montior's go black, have to reboot as if i power cycled it.

i had Ride 4 do this to me once and I finally figured out that it was like trying to boot into VR mode but the intro splash screen didn't load in VR so the whole pc would just give up. I fixed that by unplugging the VR headset. On the off chance this was the same issue, I also did that here but it didn't have any effect. That was sort of my only idea

uhhh i seem to have "fixed" it by deleting the "ReadyOrNot_StartupMovie.mp4" from the game files

now the game boots fine

in dx11 and dx12. mp4 plays fine if i play it on it's own. So the process by which the game plays the mp4 file causes my computer to shutoff, i have no idea why

hey. I just got the game and it was running smoothly until I realized I could no longer reach the options button. my curser is stuck in a limited space. I found the problem to be because the game's cursor is much slower than the cursor on the computer; so when I move my cursor down the computer's curser reaches the bottom before the one in the game preventing it from moving. please fix this. Certain events when playing the game cause frame rates to drop to 0 for about 0.28 seconds, these events are random and I cannot pin exactly what it is that causes this. Once the "skip" of framerate starts, it then does not stop for the duration of the session and occurs about every 15 seconds. Happens during ultra graphics (40FPS) settings and high graphics (100FPS) settings. All hardware is up to date on software drivers.

The tsaer reload is slightly broken. If you reload, your character puts the cartridge in, but if you swap weapons or do other certain actions, it doesn't actually reload it and when you switch back when it's needed, it doesn't shoot and you have to reload again

Turning it lower may help but then corners will get more jaggy and pixely.

unfortunately many common anti aliasing methods in games these days have those ugly ass ghosting effects or just make the game blurry. I dont believe ron has any alternative aa methods so its just a case of needing to put up with it or turn it off if you can at the cost of a less smooth image if its too distracting during gameplay

Game has been randomly crashing since a windows refresh. Checked all my drives are up to date, temps look good, and GPU utilization seems normal until a crash where it spike to 100%. try going to the games .exe file (program files > steam > steamapps > common > ready or not) right click and select properties, from there go to compatibility, change high DPI settings and tick "Override high DPI scaling Behaviour" and make sure the drop down under is set to application.

damn Im not sure then. I think the game is windowed fullscreen by default, revert what I told you to do so you can actually see the game and this time try right clicking it on steam and selecting properties and under launch options maybe try typing "-fullscreen" just without the quotation marks

Local Disk (whatever drive the game is installed on) > Users > [Your pc account name] > AppData (hidden folder by default I cant remember how to unhide it so you can look that up) > Local > ReadyOrNot > saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor > GameUserSettings (open that with notepad if it asks you, dont click the thing where it asks you to always open those files with notepad just in case it breaks stuff idk if it does)
Inside GameUserSettings find ResolutionSizeX = [a number] and ResolutionSizeY = [a number] use ctrl + F to bring up the search bar if you cant find it. Replace sizeX's number with 1920 and SizeY with 1080

This is more of a technical question than a bug, but everytime I open up RoN it creates a "mod.io" folder on my (C:) hard drive. I have somewhat very limited space on that hard drive which is why I download everything on my second one. For now, I've been deleting it manually, but after a while it'll get annoying, so I was wondering if there is a way to make it so it stops creating this folder every single time I open up the game ?

Not a bug just means no one is playing in ur region (online), or all online matches in your region are full. This discord has a section for finding people to play with. If you don't wanna go that route you're going to have to find some friends to play with you, host a session yourself or wait for someone to host a new session or for someone to leave a session within that ms range.

Certain doors become "pseudo doors" which cannot be opened, but the command window with all the door-related commands (except for breach) can be opened. I've noticed this happening with this type door specifically.

Custom maps like Apartment 201 and Storage have these doors, and they are completely unplayable as of the new update

right click on the game, click properties, go to local files and then press browse local files. delete everything in the ready or not folder and then reinstall

Hello all, hope you are all well! Was wondering if someone could help? I bought the game Friday and the option for multiplayer doesnt exist for me. It wont allow me to join a game I am invited to. It says "lost connection to host" every time I attempt to join. The invite friends tab on the menu screen is Grey'd out and I only have a single player option. Does anyone know why this might be? I have tried restarting my pc. Updating drivers, verified the integrity of files and so much more. But even when I attempt to close the game in steam it stays on "STOPPING" and will not close. It isnt in my task manager to end it and I have to restart my pc each time.

Any help would be awesome! ty 😄

3 option Reinstal the game 2. make sure they are not modded and if they are you need to look in settings 1. see if you can invite them and show a screenshot

Cool I will try the reinstall now. If all else fails I will come back with screenshots! - I have never modded anything before so they shouldnt be but I will check it all. TYVM

Reinstall didn’t work, never had any mods anywhere that I could find

I am unable to invite friends because I am not in a lobby as I only have single player available

They can’t join

That’s when I accept an invite ^ says that every time

Steam also having a bad time closing it

The folder it’s all in, do you see anything weird?

make sure your firewall isnt blocking the game

I just googled and its both ticked so isnt the firewall

Okay so I just ran as administrator and it seemed to have fixed it - annoying but I guess it will do

Is there any danger to running as administrator?

You're not on the latest version. Remove your mods, and verify your game files.

i have verify the game files and removed my mods but it happens without the mods

do a clean reinstall below:
Uninstall Ready or Not on Steam
Navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Delete "ReadyorNot"
Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata by default is roaming) > delete "ReadyorNot"
Reinstall the game via Steam

But this doesnt seem like a fresh install. You dont even have the new "Mods" button in the main menu.

Can you show us the the installation folder of RoN including the path in explorer please?
