Gas still doesn’t work. Has a nearly zero-second fuse, I haven’t seen it have any effect on people where it lands, but if I’m not wearing a gas mask, it will effect me where I’m standing at the time of the throw, not where it lands after.

I noticed that we get 5 points whether we kill or incapacitate a suspect so in terms of score there is no point in trying to keep a suspect alive. We should get more points like 10 if a suspect is only incapacitated and not dead.

Fix the evidence disappearing and "F to interact" deciding to break mid run. It sucks that the hardest part about getting S ranks is not the mission itself, but the lottery of "will my interactions disappear? Will suspect evidence disappear?"
I'm tired of having perfect runs but evidence clipping through objects or disappearing or being unable to hit "F" to interact with doors, evidence, or suspects. Like come on.

Hey, i think that Void should add more often something from the Suggestions that exist since Early Acces. I know this Sounds like i want to Push my Suggestions, but since 2022 Many Peolple including myself want a REALISTIC Glock 17 or Glock 19. Because i have never seen the G19, that is in the Game, in Real Life.
Sometimes i think that VOID wont even look at the Suggestions and just making their own thing.
How many People Requestet a Pepper Ball Pistol with 7 Shots? Just compare this to the People who want a Realistic Glock 17. I just did the restaurant mission from DLC 3. There are literally 5 rooms on this map and my team failed to do what I asked them to do 90% of the time. This AI and their broken path finding are really getting worse and worse. It's not even fun to play alone anymore because all the missions I failed were because my team was inactive. It's really starting to piss me off.

Fix the AI flash throwing behavior. Half the time if the room has a small entrance area and then the actual room in either direction no matter how you stack your team they just throw the flash into the wall like idiots and just flash themselves. Then when you throw it for them it’s friendly fire when it’s nowhere near them

Elephant should be an easy mission, it already took more time than valley of the dolls and i still haven’t beat it. Why do the bombs just randomly go off at mostly random times way under 18 minutes??? Why do the shooters randomly kill hostages across the school where I have no line of sight from them? Hey yall. Just got this on Series X and while I love the game for being a intense tactical shooter, this shit looks like doodoo. Straight buns. The textures are garbage. The AI is autistic. Before I bought it, I just naturally assumed the neckbeards on reddit were just being pompous, drama queens but I low key see where their coming from now. This game is currently worth the same amount of the file size. I hope big changes are coming because it low key feels like 40GBs short of what it should be. Other than that I feel yall nailed the concept and vibe but the AI, graphic fidelity, and some mechanics are criminal.

This game is almost unplayable. It is so frustrating because I have looked forward to the console release for so long. The AI teammates are straight off the short bus, and when they aren't ignoring commands, they are walking right past suspects and getting shot in the back. The visual quality is dog crap, bullet casings float in the air, suspects get stuck in crawl spaces, and I've had suspects completely tank beanbags to the groin. I've had countless S-rank runs ruined by these issues and it is so demoralizing. This game is amazing for what it is and I cant wait until it is enjoyable to play.

To the Ready or Not Dev Team,

I'm writing to express extreme frustration after a game crash completely deleted my save file—with no backup, no recovery, and no cloud support. I've spent hours grinding through missions, unlocking content, and building progress, only for it to vanish instantly because your game has zero protection against corrupted saves.

This is unacceptable in 2025. Cloud saving is standard—even indie games have it. Yet Ready or Not, a tactical game with deep progression and a committed player base, offers no safeguard whatsoever. No cloud sync. No auto-backup. No file recovery. Nothing.

Losing that kind of progress due to something out of my control is not just frustrating—it’s infuriating. Players shouldn't have to back up save files manually like it's 2005. I expected better from a game of this scope and price.

I want to know:

Why there's no cloud saving or auto-backup system?

If you're doing anything to prevent this from happening again?

Whether save protection will be implemented in the near future?

I loved the game, but right now I don’t trust it enough to start over—because I can’t be sure this won’t happen again. It’s not just data—it’s my time and commitment. And right now, Ready or Not feels like it doesn’t value either.

Fix this.

I would like to suggest that, in the discord, we have lobbies for modded play. Many times the last few days people have wanted to join lobbies but can't because I run mods. Playstation players can't even JOIN a modded game much less use mods.

This has lead to a lot of complaints and join/leaves as people come in wanting to play but don't want to deal with mods. I know we aren't 2 million players but a few channels in the discord for modded play would be nice. Thanks.

I simple yet effective addition i believe would help the game a lot is a shoulder tap system. A way to let your teammates know in a nonverbal way, its go time, or im set. It would make multiplayer a lot better and give a more realistic feel to the game as well.

My average grade is constantly dropping in stats despite getting A, A+ and S very frequent and below A very rare. I feel it should be somewhere in the B region but instead it dropped to D by now. I felt betrayed with it showing C already but D? That's really insulting.

I'm sure it's epics fault. They proved themselves more than once incapable of just everything they do.

Maybe it is fun to have the ability to make custom missions like in Police stories.
In that game you can, for example, pick how many civs there are, and how many and which suspects are there.
If this was implemented in RON, you can give the players more freedom of what they want to do in the game.

I was about to buy the game yesterday with some friends until they brought up the restricted content on PC with censorship and graphic degrading and I will not be purchasing the game unless these issues are addressed. When searching for public games, don't put us into games that don't have a map selected. 4 out of 5 games the host is just inactive or not interested in playing the game :) this isnt the biggest deal but would increase QOL by a ton

I was just securing the last civilian to S rank Sins of the Father, and the game crashed... You can't make this shit up man. I want to enjoy this game so bad, but every time I load it up, there are just more and more reasons to stop playing. This marks the third mission, some stupid glitch, bug, or crash has messed up my S rank run. Valley of the Dolls, Carriers of the Vine, and now Sins of the Father. This is getting ridiculous (PS5)

Yeah that’s why I just uninstalled. It sometimes feels like everything in this game is made to just enrage you. Suspects have unholy aim and reaction time, if you want to get S ranks you need to play like mall security. Amount of bugs and tons of overlooked things that make the experience more enraging than enjoyable. Sometimes bullets phase right through enemies. You guys should change the ROE system so that civilians who suddenly start reaching into their pocket like a crackhead to pull out a phone to not count as unauthorized use of force. This game is a swat simulator and IRL deadly force is justified under the Fourth Amendment when an officer reasonably believes there is an imminent threat. They’re literally trained to respond to threatening movements, not determine if the target actually has a weapon because if you wait to confirm if it’s a gun or not then you’ll get shot. I get how it’s to like make people have trigger discipline, but only an idiot would suddenly reach into their pocket and pull something out with an armed team of 5 screaming for compliance and holding them at gunpoint. Because of that it would make lethal force justified in that scenario and so it shouldn’t deduct points from the mission

These ai teammates are SO oblivious to common sense instruction/ reaction... they will just watch me get shot while all 4 of them just stand there. I try to set them up for success by making them use flashes/stingers and obviously have numbers 4vs1 or 2 most of the time while I'm taking whole rooms. There needs to be an actual constant awareness of threats and reaction. They love dying while they walk up to stack a door, they will just calmly walk directly into fire instead of engaging.

That’s true but if an officer is under enough belief that whoever he suspects is gonna have a gun then he can shoot him, it doesn’t matter if he actually ends up having a gun or not. Like in the 2018 Stephon Clark incident officers chased him and cornered him in his grandmother’s backyard before he suddenly reached to pull out a phone, but the officers ended up discharging 20 rounds, and none were found guilty. When you’re in some crack noise like twisted nerve And it’s dark and cloudy and there’s suspects everywhere and you suddenly see someone across the hallway and they reach for something it’s almost impossible to tell if it’s suspect or civ and if they’re pulling out a tec 9 or a Samsung galaxy

I’ve had that happen to so many times, whenever you tell them to cuff someone or to jam a door and a suspect materializes out of nowhere they’ll just continue doing whatever they’re doing while being gunned down. Same thing if you’re getting shot at. You could tell them to fall in and you get shot and they just stay a safe distance of 5 feet away from you and not do anything

Hope Devs see this (don't really want to ping them). Right now high difficulty is total, unfair piece of terrible balance. Suspects run very very fast and gun (shoot) with aim bot and through any pixel they can see you. Moreover SWAT AI is awful- it regressed and became so stupid and illogical, I actually didn't saw it like this ever. Teammates sometimes don't do commands until you reset it, they can breach inside the room, don't do a thing to surrendered suspects, and after completing task just stand there without doing anything. Dear developers, please, fix it as fast as you can, for now game is unpleasant at all(

Instead of all the AI buffs in hard mode, why not just increase the overall misfortune in this diff. Not increased resists and aim/reaction time. You could double the enemy count. Make it so the roam the map more aggressively and if they find a zip tied teammate they cut them loose and give them a sidearm. Increase the cost of doctrine violations. Friendly fire from even AI as punishment for standing in stupid places in a gun fight (crossfire).

Because these used to have textures not just fully black and then I crash no matter what when I play and same with a friend of mine, can’t even play the game some days because it crashes then the next day it works for like an hour.

So how can I "get good" if the problem is that the recoil is unnecessarily buffed in game vs. irl? Also how would I get good if it's an animation thing and not a recoil control thing? Recoil control is easy, but the animation makes it seem like the swat officer has the weakest wrist when they pull out the taser.

I would love for the added ability to tackle or have some sort of actually effective melee for suspects that are refusing to give up, mainly the last suspect when you are playing by yourself with no AI on hard mode. Sometimes they just refuse to give up and will eat a grenade, flash/stinger launcher, and then 8 consectutive stuns from the beanbag shotty point blank all while yelling for compliance. I get that its not necesarily unrealistic but it would be nice to have some counter to it because its kinda just a Fuck You Run Over kinda thing for Solo No AI nonlethal. I actually like the functionality of having the last suspect be high resistance and hunt you down, but I just need some counter to them going terminator mode and leaving me staring at them with no ammo in my launcher or beanbag after stunning them ten times in a row. Could even be something like holding B instead of pressing it does a powerful melee that can knock resisting and already stunned suspects down if they have eaten many beanbags already.

Also having the ability to yell for compliance while reloading, taking out, and putting away the flash launcher, the ability to quickly switch to your primary from your launcher instead of neatly folding it back up (Maybe for the cost of a slower animation later, or awkward movement) would be super welcome changes.

i thought a rating should always see the big picture and your simulation game focuses on none leathal negotiation combat situations to search and rescue, based on real life happenings.
the gore etc is all optional. in fact if you would imply a negative number at the after-report-rating-score for destroying evidence (including shoot of limbs from dead suspects) due to giving the forensic medicine dept a hard time (simualtion wise) .. that gore gameplay feature could stay untouched in the game on console aswell :)) .. sometimes developer needs to go creative on how to showcase and display things to get around some spongy rules because it's all about interpretation matter.

I really dislike how AI uses ballistic shields in game.

It’s like the operators don’t care about their safety after entering a room and say “It’s clear”, put away their shield, then get killed instantly by someone in another room. (Same goes for opening/closing doors, wedging, etc.)

It is also very annoying to spam MMB+5+5 after clearing a room to make sure my shield AI don’t die

Would it be possible to add an option or something for the AI to toggle the ballistic shield to stay permanently deployed after clearing a room?

For the love of god remove the supporter edition items from console versions if you’re not going to release a supporter edition on console.

Console players are already got their lore ruined because you censored the 23 megabytes a second mission, the Twisted Nerve mission, and the Valley of the Dolls mission. So because of that I had no idea what was going on. All you had to do was censor the nudity and keep the rest of the game how it was.

The weapons are inaccurate like they're not zeroed in. They do not hit the reticle. Any shot over like 50 feet means nothing.

I've directly hit a suspect with an m320 flash and stinger with no effect.

Being unable to interact with suspects happens so frequently that I don't even count on being and to finish missions reliably.

I cannot emphasize enough how incompetent the teammates are.

Teammates don't restrain suspects that are still armed even after I give the order 10 times. They will say a room is clear while a suspect is unrestrained. They constantly let suspects get back up and start shooting a second time.

The entire command system needs to be changed. A simple "weapons free" needs to be a main command because, as I mentioned already, these "teammates" watch me get shot on every single mission without engaging.

The "teammates" will wonder off to completely useless areas at random times.

There needs to be a command that let's them use their deployables when necessary. It is so stupid for you to make this game where we have to be in complete control of 5 people during shootouts. On top of that, having them quickly deploy a flash when things are hitting the fan isn't even an option. The quickest thing I can do it have them "open, clear, and flash" which makes them completely mindless meat shields that usually walk directly until oncoming fire.

The friendly fire shouldn't even be in existence when using non lethals. That includes flashbangs. That's so incredibly stupid of your design.

A police officer would never shoot another police officer for unwarranted use of force. The idea that your "teammates" kill you immediately if you shoot someone in cuffs is beyond stupid.

Overall, this game has proven to be heavily unprepared for console launch. You guys should've had this tested for a few more months at least. There are so many more glitches I'm not mentioning. And the incompetence of the "teammates" can't be stressed enough

I know this is probably the tism but i noticed the grip on the pistols is too high and very unrealistic as the slide actively is cutting into the hand, also the p90 model in 3rd person (when looking at the gun in customization is too small to the size of the guy) i have other minor nitpicks but the grip height is the biggest one as that actually ruins the immersion

Actions are not completed (wedge, move, open flash and bang), especially if I give the order and look away.

All my "teammates" have the m320 yet only 1 person seems to be designated to use it.

All teammates are equipped with flashes at the station, yet they show that they don't have any as soon as the mission starts.

Locked doors stop teammates completely. There needs to be a default backup instead of having to go back to them and telling them how to open a door.

NON LETHALS ARE NOT FRIENDLY FIRE. EVER.

Flashbang/stinger timing needs to be simultaneous to the door opening. Not this nonsense of waiting until the door is open to pull the pin.

"Teammates" love dying. It would be nice if they actually tried staying alive.

The position of an open door can stop all movement of "teammates". Meaning that after I give commands to open, they just stand there until the door is adjusted.

"Teammates" miss the doorway and flash/sting everyone.

The teammates constantly telling you to move is probably the most annoying thing. THEY need to move out of MY way.

We should not have to wait for the coughing animation to restrain suspects. That's a great design for us to be sitting ducks.

For enemies to fire accurately while moving around like Muhammed Ali is utter nonsense. If they're going to be accurate, they have to stay still.

The "search area" command means they need to search the area. Not stand there and say "got it".

I can't say this enough, the "teammates" need some common sense. They love dropping a chem light in the corner of a room and then just standing there.

Ever since the latest patch (.007) the "teammates" get stuck at the door and don't do any of the "open" commands. Even with the door open. I have to tell them to fall in and then try again and that usually works. Which of course is a great way to give the enemy plenty of time to kill us all.

Something needs to be fixed on the hard difficulty. Enemy clearly has wall-hacks, 360 view, start shooting before fully turning around and hitting you with beyond pinpoint accuracy. The game doesn't feel difficult, it feels like we're playing hackers. I love difficult games, but the reaction time of the enemy is 0.01 and they can see you from like 100 meters away behind their back while you're peaking. It's too much. Doesn't feel fun. AI teammates are frequently clipping into each other, to the point where they're literally standing inside each other, during various breach animations, and after the "mirror under door" and "pick lock" animations.

Whenever the teammates reposition themselves in a stack-up formation, they need to not clip into each other. This is a new problem with the latest patch earlier today.

On the fast food map SWAT AI still can get stuck had one get stuck when he tried to walk through two guys on the ground and then wouldnt be able to do anything else, even when those guys on the ground were moved away, another one got stuck after clipping through another officer while stacked up at a door and then wouldnt move for the rest of the match.

Also M320 gas grenade seems to only deploy gas after bouncing of a wall or ground first which makes it quite unpredictable where it will go. The M320 should go off on impact unless its too close as it does IRL

It is, and it's made worse by not being able to issue a command to deploy flashbangs, gas, or stingers through an open doorway.

I may not want to have my team to enter the room after throwing gas, I just want them to gas the room. But now I can't tell them to gas without entering.

And if I tell them to "Move and Clear with Gas", half the time the team can't even throw the gas through the door before they enter, leading to slaughter.

It would be great to have more options for custom difficulty. For instance I would like to enable enemy squad behaviour without having enemies with superhuman aim and reaction times.

Right now that's not possible because the preset difficulty options bundle so many things together, I can only have one or the other.

Give the supporter edition items for free to everyone for the amount infestation of bugs and the amount of time you made so many players waste restarting their progress over and over due to so many bugs.

I wish I knew the game was in such a terrible state before I bought it but I wanted the preorder items.

Recommendation about difficulty levels: Let us individually select difficulty parameters to tailor the experience to our specific preferences. Personally, I love the "Casual" mode since it offers an easier, somewhat more forgiving experience that I'm looking for. I don't want aimbot enemies who see me and snipe me from 500 meters away through a wall (unfortunately, this still seems to happen even on Casual mode).

But I would appreciate letting us set each specific option one by one: how much damage I take, how much damage my AI teammates take, how much health suspects have, how many suspects appear in a mission, how reactive and quick they are, how many (if any) door traps appear in a mission.

I'd also appreciate being able to play each map as basically a simple "terrorist hunt" mode where we don't have to worry about rushing through a mission due to "active shooters" or bomb threats and whatnot. I'm told by some PC players that this used to be a feature in the game but was later taken out. Not sure why--it would greatly enhance the replay value of Ready or Not.

Thanks for your hard work on this patch. Unfortunately, the AI teammates still gargle nuts. They still ignore commands, and now I am having a problem where they will run away from me. I was just playing Carriers of the Vine on PS5 and ordered them to stack up on a door in the basement. 3 of them did, but the 4th AI teammate left. I have no clue where he went, but it was the complete opposite direction. Very unfortunate, and yet again, my coveted S-rank was ruined.

I wanted to kindly ask if you have any plans to add full keyboard and mouse support on PS5. Currently, the keyboard works but the mouse doesn’t, which limits the gameplay experience for those of us who prefer using keyboard and mouse on consoles.

Since Ready or Not is primarily a co-op tactical shooter without PvP concerns, adding keyboard and mouse support on PS5 would greatly improve precision and control without creating unfair advantages.

Can you please train the monkey shit AI SWAT teammates to not stop at thresholds, they clog up doorways, creating fatal funnels. Also, it would be pretty cool if they didn't turn their backs on open doors. It would also be neat if, when clearing a room, they don't walk past surrendered suspects who are still armed. It's not fun getting railed from behind after you hear them yelling at suspects, then ignoring them completely.

It’d absolutely insane how stupid everybody is in this game. Your ai teammates stand by and just chill as you’re getting gunned down without doing anything. They scream for compliance for suspects across the building. The civilians have zero situational awareness too, you could be having a multi person gunfight in a room or area and they just stand there like nothings happening. Every sane person drops on the ground or at least ducks down, not stands there like an idiot to get shot by a stray bullet. That concerns all the AI in general. They’re either omnipotent with knowledge of exactly where everyone is at all times or complete idiots

I got some ideas that could be interessting.

-Give the Player the option to adjust the colour of weapons Glow to make it easier to find, some maps have a yellow glow which makes seeing the gun in the yellow grass or bright yellow lighting really hard.
-make it so that when weapons get tossed into an impossible to reach area, they get auto collected or spawn at the beginning of the map or next to the suspect.
-Shorten certain arresting animation for (example the one where you grab the suspect by the head and kick their side), since some of them feel a bit dragged out.

Nothing huge just some small adjustments that could make it more fun and nice to play.

Your toon moving to a "muzzle up" position while a suspect is in your face shooting is frustrating. If they can shoot you, you should be able to return fire. You can not backpedal fast enough to get the gun back down.

I think it would be nice if the 1-4x and 1-12x had a way to adjust zoom level, especially the 12x since it HAS a dial on it for that but we can't use it, also would be nice if we could change the sensitivity for the high range scopes separately from the other sights cause at the moment aiming with a 12x gives the same sensitivity as aiming with a red dot which makes using the scopes difficult.

Please fix the AI teammates. For some reason, if its an open door or just a open entry area, they often times bug out and dont even enter into the room or only 1 or 2 enter the room. On rust belt I sent 2 guys to go into a open room I flashed already, and only ONE GUY went in, stared at the wall whilst the suspect was flashed and when he got back up he shot my teammate. When muzzle bashing enemies add an option to hold the melee button and "Assist" the suspect to the ground, also when I peek a door and shoot Amos Voll in the hands he shouldn't be able to turn and one shot me when he doesn't have a line of sight. I’d like to suggest a future mission idea: a bank robbery scenario.

This kind of setting fits perfectly with the game’s theme, and I believe many players would love to experience it. Imagine suspects taking hostages inside a large bank, operators clearing multiple floors, handling panicked civilians, and facing unpredictable criminal behavior—it would create an incredibly tense and realistic situation.

Here’s why I think this scenario would be a perfect addition:

・Classic yet fresh setting:
Bank robberies are iconic in SWAT history and films, but Ready or Not’s realistic systems would make it feel brand new.

・High tension gameplay:
The layout of a bank—tight hallways, open lobbies, secure vault areas—offers varied tactical challenges.

・Increased civilian risk:
Banks are crowded, meaning balancing speed and caution would be critical to avoid civilian casualties.

・Replayability:
Multiple escape routes, randomized suspect behavior, and even robbers disguising themselves as civilians could make each playthrough unique.

Such a mission could easily become one of the highlights of the game and would align perfectly with Ready or Not’s style of tactical, methodical gameplay.

(posting on the feedback forum wouldn't work, I'll post PS5 feedback here)

  • The X button is both contextual and to issue orders to "get down", but this often causes doors and evidence to be shouted at. And holding circle to melee (tapping is crouch) and clicking both L3+R3 to use the locked lean which has much better range, I wish I could change the button mappings for controller.

  • Paper doll damage icon showing when you lean left/right or lock side step would be a nice extra bit of info (canted aiming looks a bit like you're still leaning one way)

  • I'd love it if the black space to the right of the weapons/equipment loadout screen had info about all items (i.e can lasers bee seen by enemies? do flashlights lower enemies accuracy when pointed at them - are they different lumens? And just general weapon info like calibre, feet per second or velocity (damage), rounds per minute or fire rate (whether written or shown by bars).

  • Also I'd love it if the black area mentioned above in loadouts to the right, had a visual representation of the gun sight used (as seen looking down them) this would be hugely useful at a glance if always available to see per weapon. Along with them shown when scrolling though the different sights.

  • If you want to be hardcore, an animation that turns a dial on reflex/scopes to change the dot size (MOA/minute of angle) this would be so cool. It could be added to D-pad or a 2nd embedded D-pad direction and allow for one to change the dot size based on range (lower MOA for small dot and long range acquisition, higher MOA for big dot and close quarters). You can change on real sights the size of crosshairs in general, and even their brightness (though that probably isn't needed for the game).

  • Camo skins and ghillie wrap for guns possibly?

  • Balaclavas, I can't see any balaclava's in the customization screen? If there's none please add these, they're very often used by SWAT.

  • An option possibly to customize the equipment wheel and which categories or items are embedded within? I'd love this as I'd prefer quick access to taser or some items on the first wheel for instance - instead of going through multiple wheels. This would be great too for various missions if wheel pre-sets could be saved, maybe one mission demands quick non lethal tools. The same could possibly be applied to SWAT team command wheels.

  • Sniper rifles, I hope in the future we'll see a category for marksman rifles (one or two are in the AR section) and sniper rifles with long range scopes. This game has so much potential for long range combat, one team can provide overwatch from a roof or somewhere whilst another moves in etc. And using mounts maybe when crouched to help stabilize. This could open to question of an option to lay prone and crawl? (better weapon stabilization or making yourself a smaller target).

  • I think the melee animation and sound effect are underwhelming currently, it'd be cool if it had a little more oomph to it to properly convey the weight of a weapon strike (sound effect if hitting a wall etc).

  • Thermal vision goggles (do SWAT use these?)

  • Smoke grenades to obscure vision (these would be very handy).

  • 1st responder mode: I know this would be popular as think there's a PC mod for it, but police uniforms, basic armour, and a pistol only (possibly a shotgun) to emulate that scenario (unless the uniform etc is already in the game)

Map ideas:

  • A big supermarket, like a real life one (Sainsbury's/Walmart etc) lots of long aisles with suspects, potential for hostage situations and a mix of long range combat and in the offices/staff areas short range.

  • A live music event (probably best suited to long range, or sniper rifles which aren't currently in the game).

  • A terror incident, such as a bridge/high street where attackers are mainly armed with knives, could be hiding in interiors.

no i have had a few others tell about the same audio, there is a ringing sound or something when the nvgs are pulled down and your screen lights up with the nvg. but i guess i am just overly sensitive on that frequency part. always been a thing for a long time but i thought it was patched out or something, haven't paid attention to it. i have no mods installed and run the game purely vanilla and it keeps me from using nvgs as often.

Just a little feedback about the censorship and story impact playing this on PS5. On 23 megabytes a second, it isn't immediately clear what the streamer suspect had done wrong (he just has documents in his drawer and mindjolt is mentioned). It was even more baffling on valley of the dolls I did today, an adult movie producer who isn't coy about lewd photography no doubt, has pictures of dolls on his walls? I don't understand the logic to it in terms of story. I know these had to be censored for age ratings, but the story element and emotional impact feels lost, can these not be brought back - maybe mostly covered up with spraypaint or something like they tried to destroy the evidence? (there are photos of kids in the Brixley talent centre still)

Hey Devs, liking the game for the most part, though there are some notable issues as I’m sure everyone here is letting you know.

My main issue is regarding the “Hard” difficulty mode:

TL;DR: Hard mode feels broken. Enemies have near-superhuman aim and reaction times, unarmored suspects are unrealistically tanky and seem to have X-ray vision, and dying happens in milliseconds. Some aspects of the mode are fair, but a lot of its challenge feels unbalanced, unrealistic and just straight up broken.

Problems I’ve noticed (and other players have noticed too):

  • Superhuman reactions & accuracy: Enemies snap onto you instantly and can hit you from ridiculous distances through tiny gaps. Maps like Greased Palms and Hide & Seek are especially bad—it feels less like facing criminals and more like facing a team of Deadshots and John Wicks.
  • Wall-hits / X-ray vision: Enemies can seemingly track you through walls and wallbang with near-perfect accuracy.
  • Tanky unarmored suspects: Sometimes they shrug off multiple 7.62 rounds, or even slug shells, without flinching or having the slightest bit of a pained reaction. You can do everything right—pie a door slowly, get the drop, land rounds—and still get insta-killed after shooting first.
  • Low player health vs superhuman suspects: Low health is realistic, but combined with the terminator level enemy aim and reaction times; death often comes in milliseconds regardless of whatever armour you and your team are wearing.
  • One of the more obvious and egregious problem—enemies can seemingly shoot you without their gun even being faced your way. Are they ricocheting bullets of walls to hit me whilst I’m behind them.
  • Things that actually work: Smarter enemy tactics, extra traps, shorter bomb timers, and reduced health—fair meaningful and believable challenges; everything else just feels cheap and broken.

Achieving the “I’m Too Old For This” has become an exercise in masochism rather than a test of skill.

I hope there are there plans to tweak this difficulty mode so that it’s challenging in a manner that doesn’t feel unfair and broken.

On less urgent matters: is there any chance we’ll get balaclavas or masks as cosmetic options in future? That and fingerless gloves? As ‘ShinobiZero’ pointed out you can see them in marketing material but there isn’t an option for them in game.

Sometimes, suspects seem unrealistically fast and powerful even on the Casual difficulty mode, which I prefer playing on. It's like even regular dudes (not ex-solders or whatever) will just 360 noscopes me from 500 meters away and put me in a bleeding state in just one shot. I'd appreciate it if suspects could generally be less accurate and less reactive on Casual (which is how that mode is advertised, I think).

Just some feedback for the artists/level conceptual people, brilliant job. Just did the female cult farm stage, the detail and attention to creating a certain atmosphere is top tier (thought looks like it goes into every 3D asset). Also the moral grey area's in some missions with suspects; it's not overdone to create some fallacy where all suspects have some moral justification, but good when it is implemented.

I don't know if we'll ever get this, but I'd love to see less kickback and recoil on more of the assault rifles. For now, I primarily use the G36 because it has wonderfully, refreshingly low per-shot recoil, kinda like a submachine gun, and I love it! But I wish more of the ARs had this too.

Small feedback about crouching: When crouched the character's view is low as expected, but when crouch moving it's at the same height as running. It'd be better I think if crouch moving had a slightly lower 1st person view than running, to better convey you are moving in a lower stance. (The paper doll shows crouching but takes eyes off the screen, and I bet most play with UI turned off for realism like myself)

So I did just did some RoN Recoil Testing

The conditions of the test were:

  • All Weapons are given a Suppressor, an EXPS3/RMR and Laser Pointer for consistency and for some recoil reduction to avoid not printing on the human-sized target paper.

  • All weapons will perform a quick, uncontrolled semi-auto double tap and have the distance between two bullets measured to gauge their recoil.

Rudimentary Results?

F90 < or = G36C < ARN-180 < SR-16 = MCX < ARWC < LVAR < Mk 18 = Mk 16 < GA416 < or = DM4PDW < SLR47

Which is kinda funny for a lot of the options here because, as example, for weapons like the G36C to have much less recoil than the GA416, something that’s using the same operating system. Or the SR-16, Mk 18 and DM4PDW not being higher up on the list. And this hasn’t accounted for battle rifles.

Please just do another revision VOID.

Please don't increase the recoil/kickback of any assault rifles, devs. If anything, I'd like to have less recoil/kickback on more of the assault rifles so that I have more options to play with. I keep defaulting back to the G36C because its recoil is refreshingly low, making it my favorite in the assault rifle category. I just wish more assault rifles had the same. đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

(I understand that the F90 rifle also has pretty low recoil/kickback, but I tend not to use it because it's just kinda ugly-looking.)

Is anyone else having a problem with the AI teammates not being helpful? I'm trying to S rank Hide and Seek and they make it so frustrating. Clearing out massive spaces, and they go stand in a corner while I get shot in the back. They literally walk past surrendered suspects. It would be great if the move and clear command included arresting suspects

Civilian dialog feedback:
On Neon Tomb, there was a civilian woman kneeling next to a mountain of bodies on the dance floor, when I killed a terrorist she said "they didn't do anything, you sick fuck". Then a few seconds later "Thank god, it's you". Then when I killed another terrorist 15 seconds later in this room she said again "they didn't do anything, you sick fuck". Maybe that piece of dialog should be disabled for this mission lol.

Can you please fix the goddamn game. I just went on Valley of the dolls while trying permadeath mode. Last suspect was bugged so I couldn't arrest him. Killed a civilian so I can continue the missions and got killed by the AI and lost the playthrough. Please fix the game

I think the rules of engagement need to be relaxed a lot where armed suspects are concerned, or severely tweaked depending on the mission. Real SWAT don't down terrorists (at a casualty spree situation) and then leave them to pick up a gun/play dead. They aim center mass to stop the threat completely including when they fall and then cease fire when the threat has subsided and continue to the next threat. But in this, your SWAT team will shoot you for shooting..armed terrorists. And sometimes when a suspect hasn't surrendered which could be a bug. Really needs tweaking, the only time you should be penalized is if they put their weapon down and are on their knees' when they've visibly surrendered. If they're firing at you, and you fire back then this penalty should be wavered.

The pepper in this game is incredibly broken. I shouldn't have to shoot a suspect in the face with eight pepper balls before they become incapacitated. That's not how it works. Also the gas in this game is laughably stupid. They have to be within four feet of the gas and they are only incapacitated for the duration of the gas which is only about ten seconds. Realistically, I should be able to launch a few rounds of gas into a house and the whole house would be gassed within minutes (provided the doors are open, but even then, the closed rooms would eventually become affected). This needs to be fixed. You're selling a $50 game with these cringey aspects. That's cringe.

Small feedback on Judge dialog to TOC, when reporting something alarming that makes judge shout, the preceeding "TOC is this element lead" or what have you should also be loud/alarmed. Otherwise he calmly says "TOC this is element lead" followed by screaming suddenly "OFFICER DOWN" etc

Here is visual evidence that the weapon does not shoot at the reticle. I've been saying for weeks how the weapons are not zeroed in. I hit people all the time with (what should be) headshots and just any shots but the firearm simply shoots elsewhere. No idea where these rounds are are going but it sure isn't at the reticle. i also found out that the game does register a round in the chamber in semi auto guns meaning when you switch a half empty mag for a fresh one u get that 1 round extra in the gun

Problem is that a feature like that doesn’t provide any gameplay benefit besides just cool factor. Cause you also have to make variables around that feature, you have to make Ai for example actually not behave same in dark. Cause right now Ai see just as good in darkness as if nothing is there. Like it’s very useless to add something that won’t actually change much in gameplay but to answer the question devs have very firmly said no to a feature like that due to way maps are designed in unreal engine.

System for AI Officers and Tactical Paramedics to clear room you've marked as clear. You can ask toc for these teams to escort wounded or surrendered civilians outside. If the Officers/Paramedics are harmed in anyway (e.g. marking a room full of suspects as clear) then you will be penalized. It would also be nice to add some NPC's standing around the Bearcat, for some quality of life.

It's great to see that PAX is more of a priority than putting out another bug fix. I just tried to S rank Valley of the Dolls and got screwed over again. First, when the mission was over, I ordered a search and secure. They missed two guns and completely ignored me to search and secure again. Also, it would be cool if you looked into the friendly fire with non-lethal options. When there is an armed suspect next to my teammate or a secured civilian, and I am forced to use my non-lethal weapon, I don't think I should be penalized for friendly fire. This has caused me to get an A+ more times than I can remember.

Suggestion: add the replay camera for xbox so we can do some media which would be cool, also make an option so we can change wether the AI cuffs suspects automatically so the command to cuff is useful and so our team don't die when trying to cuff a civ same with securing firearms, if you can add a bodycam camera as well so we have helmet and a bodycam would be nice.

Suggestion: Make it possible to unlock doors from the inside by turning the locks. (Keybind: P )
Description: I find it odd that you aren't able to unlock doors from the inside as it would make it so you wouldn't need to kick down a door or picklock it from the inside. I'm not sure if this is just SWAT procedure where you aren't allowed to in case of traps or whether it's unrealistic for it to be used, but it should still exist.

suggestion: I think it would be cool to see some sort of k9 that the player would be able to choose for a long tactical. this k9 should have its own command tab for it. this page would have commands like find or a command like attack. attack for example would make the dog attack any threat to the swat officers life such as if an ai aims a weapon at the player or another swat ai it would attack said ai. or lead the handler to the closest hostage. it would be cool to see it in co-op and the player that has the k9 can only control their k9 not other players.

Suggestion 1: Please make it to where you are able to select different varieties of reloading such as; When reloading a handgun you can pick from pulling the barrel to slide it manually, or using the slide release for a faster load time.

Suggestion 2: Please make it to where the enemy don’t absorb 20+ bullets, as most of the time there is blood pouring out of their body yet still able to move way faster than I can & manage to run away unfazed, I get that adrenaline takes place but it won’t stop them from bleeding out. I feel like it’ll be a cool feature if they slowly bleed out over time, as when they do lose a lot of blood they are still in active threat later within the game.

Holdout Scenario

A new gamemode. It's called Holdout. Basically, a team of 5 or fewer (or more if devs allow it) defend against waves of attacking enemies. you can use door wedges, teamwork to defend against escalating gunmen with heavier weaponry and armour. The gunmens get harder and more numerous as each wave passes. This is a SEPARATE gamemode from the campaign. It still has existing RON mechanics and i think it would bring in a lot of players and add more fun to the game.

Players manage chokepoints, wedges, and tactical positioning, while using flashbangs to assist you in arresting or neutralising gunmen. AI will escalate over time: better weapons, armour, coordinated breaches and occasional rushing of the player(s). Arresting the gunmens earn more points but it's risky as it makes the player vulnerable while cuffing. This also provides replayability without changing the campaign.

i can just imagine my friends and I on 3 Letter Triad holding a room against multiple, heavily armed suspects in a violent firefight for our lives.

It would be great if Ready or Not had more varied and polished idle weapon animations, similar to how Call of Duty does it. Subtle movements like checking the weapon, adjusting grip, or shifting stance would make the game feel more immersive and reduce the static feel when the player is standing still.

Also Ready or Not may have been released as version 1.0, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a game that deserves that title yet. While it has strong graphics and solid animations, the overall experience still feels unfinished and lacking the polish expected from a full release.

Looking back at SWAT 4, it’s striking how much more atmosphere and tension that older game managed to deliver. The environments were oppressive and unsettling, the music created real fear, and the AI made every encounter unpredictable and intense. SWAT 4 made you feel anxious before every door breach—it was scary, immersive, and unforgettable.

Ready or Not, on the other hand, looks good on the surface, but it often feels too mechanical and clean. The tension, atmosphere, and unpredictability that made SWAT 4 so special just aren’t fully there yet. That’s why calling this 1.0 feels premature—the foundation is strong, but it still needs more work in sound design, AI behavior, and environmental atmosphere to truly live up to the legacy it’s aiming for. AI and Map Design Feedback

So I've long seen a problem with the suspect AI in regards to large maps. I last played a year or two ago and recently came back to the game. Same issues as before, the AI for suspects wasn't fixed.

So, I've tried a few mods to fix the AI to make it less aimbot and have slower reaction times, to much success. In particular the "Ready or Not Here I Come AI Realistic Mod Pack (DLC 3 Ready)" mod. In particular I tried Tactical (reasonably hard) and Arcade Modes: which was far too easy, but also very entertaining (love to see it added to RoN as a game mode).

By trying these AI mods for the game I figured out the fatal flaw of why huge maps such as Greased Palms are an issue with AI Suspect behaviour:

  1. The maps have small gaps where AI can see far better than the player can. Leading to AI being able to cheese the player through blinds (example is Voll Health House). Fixing these small gaps where the AI can see the player before we can see them would greatly improve how the game feels. As of right now it doesn't feel fair at all.

  2. AI suspects have far too far of vision. Generally the AI can see you when they are merely a few pixels, while you can't see them. This creates a bit of a problem when it comes to being able to respond to attacks.

  3. AI reaction speed is way too fast. It's almost as if they're psychic as well as you come around corners, they just know exactly where you are.

4. Suspect AI sees through its body, not through its eyes. A good example is Greased Palms where there are trucks that have waist high gaps between them. Suspects are capable of being right up against the truck and still shooting through those gaps despite their faces being clearly above the gaps. Which leads me to believe that AI suspects need their vision cones limited to their heads or eyes.

I would like to see this tested by others to see if they can reproduce the same issues with the same AI mod.

first of all - amazing work on Ready or Not! I've been following the game since beta and my squad and I love the realism, tactics, and atmosphere you've built. Achieving S-ranks together never gets old.

One feature we'd love to see in the future is official VR support.

VR would take immersion and realism to the next level:

leaning around corners naturally

using hand signals to communicate with teammates

practicing tactics in a way that feels almost like real training

I've experienced this kind of depth in Onward, and imagining it combined with the passion and detail of Ready or Not makes me believe it could set a new standard for tactical shooters - both in flat-screen and VR communities.

I find something interesting: playing in hard mode, enemies can shoot through surfaces, even if their vision is obstructed. I can't see them, but then can see me and their aim is deadly, even shooting precisely through cover, knowing exactly where I am. This is such a turn off.

It gets a little ridiculous for context I have a tradition of playing through every single mission available every time there’s an update to see if anything is different at all and I think so far on my play through I’ve had a hostage situation on every single mission, it’s ridiculous, but not only that sometimes a hostage will be taken all the way across the map from me and there’s no way anyone could’ve known the hostage was taken and then the hostage is killed before I could possibly get there in time and it’s known to me that the hostage was killed if there’s some all seeing eye somewhere, why isn’t he constantly giving me callouts like the hostage is taken and killed so far away from me it’s to the point where no one would even know whether or not they were killed during the swat raid and obviously this goes without saying, but it doesn’t really make much sense to grab somebody and shoot them because you know swat in the area realistically, they would grab the person within view of the SWAT team because that’s how a hostage works. “don’t come closer or I’ll shoot” not “I already killed a person screw you guys”

So true. Also, one thing I find so stupid: security forces always say changing to your sidearm is always faster than reloading. Yet, I had an enemy running in my direction and ran out of bullets, clicked reload and then immediately after clicked to change to my sidearm. It didn't cancel my reload, it forced me to reload first and changed to my sidearm afterwards.

In hard mode, this is just so stupid. Please fix these issues.

Don’t you guys find it weird that if a suspect is holding a civilian hostage, the only way to save the hostage is to kill the suspect? If you use any kind of utility on him (gas, flashbang, stinger), he kills the civilian. With gas that might be logical, but if a flashbang explodes at his feet, it feels like it shouldn’t cause the civilian’s death.

I’d like to share some feedback as an Xbox player of Ready or Not:

Movement/Sprint: Adding a limited sprint option (affected by armor or gear weight) would make combat feel more balanced, since enemies often move very fast and it’s hard to keep up or flank them.

Non-lethal weapons: Pepper ball rounds and 12-gauge beanbag rounds feel inconsistent. More reliable behavior, new models, or additional non-lethal ammunition types would make non-lethal encounters more effective.

Missions: The current missions are great, but adding more scenarios would make the experience even better.

Hey guys, couple points of feedback, (NOT criticism) (the game absolutely rocks) (i love you guys man)

The Taser: Listen, the percentage of usage for the taser when not being used in a challenge or for an achievement is probably going to be extremely low, I understand. And also, appearance wise, the taser looks phenomenal, basically a replica of the Axon T7. With that being said, it does make me cringe a little when I don’t see my two copper wires after shooting, or two lasers to line up the upper body and lower body while aiming, or the screen being updated subsequent to unloading a bay. It unfortunately dampens a bit of the game’s realism when they don’t perform anything like real life, especially with drive stuns somehow achieving neuromuscular incapacitation which is a bit of a strange mechanic. I know highly unlikely, but if you guys have spare time it’d be worth revamping the taser’s realism a bit.

CQB Communication: Sorry folks I’m not a big gamer, I don’t know if other SWAT style games utilized non-verbal communication in CQB settings and that’s something you guys have previously tried, but with the way this game is trending I would strongly suggest looking into this. Even adding things as simple as a barrel wave, or an “emote wheel” altogether to perform hand signals, would greatly assist the folks in the game that are looking for realistic operations, as well as the players getting shot because their AI teammates wanted to shout something instead of using their hands.

So aside from the Hard mode in general just straight needing some sort of revision, something that I think should be addressed is Suspects shooting at close range. Similar to how we cannot fire our arms at a suspect right in front of us, they shouldn't be able to do the same. Besides being shot with the 50 cal, hit twice with the shield and still not surrendering, her shooting like this just shouldn't be possible. She should create some distance.

I would like to re-address the idea of issuing squad commands within team view cam.

There are many situations where splitting off into two groups is just logical to me. 24 bits per second (or whaetever its called) for example, imagine if one team would start at the outside top, clear that room, then clear top of outsside, another bottom section and move up, clearing the middle, then the team go down the outside stairs while other team breach server room from both ends, finally meeting together for the final assault.

Just an example, it would greatly add to the number of tactical options available based on given situation.

The "free lean" mechanic has changed after the patch 3. I don't know if the change was intentional or accidental.

Free lean in its current state is not smooth and jitters when trying to use it. It worked fine before. Y'all recently fixed the issue where free lean sometimes didn't work at all. Was it intentional to make free lean not a smooth animation or was it an accident?

Free lean is a very important mechanic for peaking tough angles and needed for the hard difficulty. In it's current state it's not effective at all. It's become unpredictable due to the jitter when letting go of your key bind.

Can someone on the dev team explain to me the change of free lean or if the change was intended?

the artists did an awesome job and the developers implemented great mechanics here and there however visibility check developer should get fired, enemy bots are just casually shooting through the ceiling above me or through thick walls from miles away
teammate bots on the other hand never listen to "secure and search" or "search area" command as they used to a year ago,
they're easily getting stuck at "move, bang and clear" state in random places and in the result i just die in a 1vs3 fight around the corner whilst all teammates have been starring at the door for 2 minutes

You can also give informations to your NPC-Team if you see something Dangerous (camping terrorists or something). Greatest feedback I have is still hand to hand techniques, AI squad members left a guy disarmed and when I came through a doorway the mf just punched me with massive disrespect, I should be able to feed him some dirt. The same goes for other situations where individuals are stunned and I close the distance only to have no options to forcefully restrain them so they shoot me.

Hello,
I wanted to give some feedback on reloading guns (in this case the shotguns) and prioritizing actions.
I was playing a mission and got in a gunfight. I was shot and started bleeding out. At the same time I back away and started reloading. I was pressing 'F' to stop the bleeding, but the reload was being prioritized so instead of 'stop bleeding' my officer kept reloading the shotgun which made me fall over dead from bleedout. Would this be something that could be fixed on my end or is it a script action priority thing.

Please address the censorship. I dont think its right to censor a game that has a certain type of audience

There should be a toggle for the censorship. The game is rated as +18 in most countries. Why is there censorship for a +18 product out of all places? We should have the choice, as adults, to choose what we want and don't want to see. There is no excuse when many other games have done this. Games like GTA also have cruel visuals, yet there was no problem for bringing that game to console. So why is it for RoN? And why should it impact the PC players in the first place?

Also, revert the graphical downgrades. If you are worried about file size, you can make use of Steam's DLC feature to toggle on/off textures/4k packs, like many other games have done to allow customization in the hands of the player.

The SWAT AI seems to get more buggy as updates get released. Ignoring orders, ignoring suspects entirely and simply not picking up evidence at random.

I think this is the criticism of a lot of players like me and fixing these ‘issues’ would clear 90% of the complaints

Pretty fun game overall, but the bots could be a little smarter about not getting shot for no reason and I wish some of the mods were incorporated into the game officially.

The left handed throw - shorter, quicker and great for getting deployables into the room right before a clear. Add it to the game with a separate key binding to let us choose long or short throws for the situation.

Additional grenades - 9banger, frags, and other modded throwables would be a great addition to the game.

Shotgun reloads - We're playing SWAT right? Special Weapons and Tactics, but they reload shotguns like farmer grandmother. There are plenty of viable ways to tactically reload a shotgun in the time it takes to hand load 3-4 individual shells. Plenty of competition shooters perform quad loads, and I'm sure that SWAT would practice this as well if they are going to run shotguns.

Rules of Engagement - Depending on difficulty the game has laxed or strict rules of engagement, however, a third mode with more enemies that are more aggressive and no rules of engagement would be amazing. Maybe the bad guys got too wild or started offing hostages and the command said "weapons free" on the way to the call.

Clean up crew - I can understand securing the big evidence, shipments, explosives, lab equipment, but why do we have to pick up every gun for a full score? SWATs job is to go in to save hostages and stop any threats in the area; not to clean up, bag evidence and do tasks that would wait till the situation has been resolved and it becomes safe for forensics, corners and regular police to enter the scene.

Non-lethal score penalties - Why do items like pepper spray and tasers give score penalties when used on civilians who don't comply after a shout (order)? If I shout and they refuse to get down and be detained, try to run away or reach for something (usually a phone) then tasers and pepper spray is certainly warranted. That shouldn't affect a player's score.

Finally this biggest gripe I have is the enemy bots ability to always know where you are and be able to hit you through the smallest gap possible (The post office map being the worst offender). They start firing and you can't even see or find them but they can destroy you if you don't move away fast enough. It's unrealistic for them to have perfect aim, eyesight and laser accurate weapons with no recoil or spray.

Another thing I think they should have is when one of the AI swat members see someone but you can’t see them or they don’t point out where the hell they are. It should pop up on the screen outline that shines through objects. Or an indicator on the screen shows the direction it’s coming from. Especially noise. Because of your deaf, you can read the subtitles, but you cannot use the hearing to figure out the direction it’s coming from.

Hi Void team and everyone,

I'm a player from Asia. Since the move to the new server-based matchmaking, the co-op experience for me and my friends has become almost unplayable due to high latency.

The current server list has no Asian region. Connecting to "Southeast Asia" or "Oceania" gives us very high ping, causing lag and rubberbanding.

The old P2P connection, while not perfect, was often more stable for players within the same region like Asia.

Could the team please:

  1. Consider adding Asian servers?
  2. Or, bring back the P2P option for when we just want to play with nearby friends?

Many players in our region are facing the same issue. We love this game and just want to enjoy it smoothly. Thanks for listening!

It would be awesome that we have the same with doors. How exactly ? If the AI is stacked up in a door (or anything that acts as a door) it would be awesome if i could tell the bots to just throw a flash but don't go in.

Same with breaching. Making the door explode with C2 + Flash but they won't go in.
So i can just use them for the extra equipment and I can clear the room 😄

It will be simmilar to the leader lead option. They just open the door and wait me to use the items and then they push. But they do the opening and gadget and i clear it on my own 😄 (and they just stay hugging the door frame)

New adjustment in mission objectives

  • Now missions where you are asked to arrest an important character will let you choose between arresting them alive or neutralizing them without losing the objective. (example: Arresting him alive gives the player 500 mission points, but neutralizing him only 250)

This change not only benefits the player but they can now play without the fear of accidentally deleting the character and lose a mission objective for points at the end of the game. This is because for those who play Lethal on hard difficulty, because it is common for the enemy that needs to be captured to start shooting at the player and the player ends up killing him in reaction.

only feedback I can give is that hard mode is in desperate need for either a revamp or readjustment cause it's literally impossible to play
constant sniping from the enemy AI, they are inhumanly fast in their response and you cant even react and you're dead, they do insane damage regardless if you're on the heaviest armor with steel its possible to get killed instantly, the swat AI is very shotty and also dies very fast, I don't understand the nerf in their aim and damage since the enemies already tough as nails.
I understand wanting the hard mode to be, y'know, hard
but there are ways to do it without necessarily making it impossible for the player, It's insane that sometimes you just got to rely on getting RNG for a mission to barely complete it, heck the game already does handle difficulty pretty well in the standard gamemode and Ironman challenge, sure it's difficult but never impossible, hard mode on the other hand? it's barely even passable.
Just please re-work this mode properly so it can actually be challenging while still being fair to the player and fun to master.

Also please add the option to add balaclavas in singleplayer and customize them and option for gasmasks with dark tinted lenses it'd be nice to have those options for more customization.

Reload cancelling! Too many a time have I been caught with my pants down because I can’t switch weapons mid-reload! Nothing special, just pause the reload mid way through, and continue the animation when the weapon is re-equipped! It’s so easy that even COD does it!

ranting over here after spending almost 20 hours on an ironman campaign and got my save file deleted. died because a suspect rushed yolo-ed me pointblank range mag dumping me non stop, but since the suspect was directly infront of me, it automatically put my character into low ready position. unable to react, my friendly AI was directly stacked behind me single file so they could not shoot because of friendly fire. 20 hours of progress wasted because something wasnt within my control, felt cheated and angry. T_T just dropping feedback here, hope the devs read this and at least allow to have some form of defense in extreme close quarters combat. i know hand to hand combat its rare, but that shit happened to me.

A very simple but effective change would be adding the "AIMPRO" sight as an option for the MK18 rifle.

An iconic carbine, the MK18 Mod 0 is represented with near 100% accuracy in game (SOPMOD stock, LMT rear sight, KAC RIS rail, etc.) The only part missing is the correct optic. The MK18 Mod 0 was generally issued with the Aimpoint CompM2. While the CompM2 is not currently available in game, the Aimpoint PRO (aka AIMPRO) is. The Aimpoint PRO is a 30mm red dot that is nearly identical to the CompM2 and was commonly issued to law enforcement during the MK18 Mod 0's (and CompM2's) peak service.

The AIMPRO optic is only available in game for certain weapons, generally firearms that saw peak use during the 90s and early 2000's (M1A, MP5, etc.) With the MK18 Mod 0's service history being consistent with this time period, and a 30mm Aimpoint red dot being the standard issue optic for said rifle, the AIMPRO should be available for the Mk18 in game.

It has been forever and the gas still isn't fixed. Doing some solo-testing i found out the AI doesn't react to the gas at all, even when firing cylinders and the AI standing in the cloud. They only respond to verbal commands. Can you please fix this? An essential part of the kit is essentially rendered useless for house clearing.

Can we get the 2011 45 ACP double stack pistol? Decrease the difficulty of greased palms.

I've been playing Ready or Not for like 52 hours (which I know is not much), but like almost all of that time has been spent on one map. Greased Palms.

I'm trying to get the S rank on every mission on standard difficulty and no matter what strategies I try as soon as I enter the warehouse, I die and it's over. I almost never even know who is shooting me and from where because there are so many small openings in the warehouse and the suspect AI is too powerful and it's almost impossible to complete.

My entire experience with Ready or Not has been:

  • Starting the mission on Greased Palms
  • Dying thanks to some suspect on the other half of the warehouse less than half a second after I entered.
  • Restarting the mission
  • Dying thanks to some suspect on the other half of the warehouse less than half a second after I entered.
  • Rage quitting and trying again next month.

I'm simply just not able to complete the mission because the suspect's have military level aim while the swat AI is no help at all.

I've had Ready or Not for almost 2 years now and I almost never play it simply because of how frustrating it is to spend half an hour dying & restarting the mission. Ready or Not was really fun for me and I absolutely loved it until I reached Greased Palms and getting the S rank became impossible. I've tried basically every strategy that exists, I've watched dozens of youtube videos on how to complete it, and nothing works. I always die and lose the S rank.

Please I beg you make the suspect AI's aim and vision distance worse, or please make the swat AI more useful. There was one time where the last suspect killed one of the swat AI's and I lost the S rank on literally the last suspect. Greased Palms has been genuinely making me suffer for years now as I have never been able to get the S rank on it. Every time I finally try the mission again after months of not playing I just die, and die and rage quit.

A prison map would be interesting.
Inmates are rioting and have both taken guards as hostage and barricaded themselves in certain areas of the prison. Forces you to use riot gear more extensively as there inmates who are not barricaded will be in the masses roaming the corridors (5+ Unarmed Inmates attempting to overwhelm you, able to make use of riot shields and stingers). There will be a handful of armed inmates like those who have seized the armoury. You will have to rescue staff, attempt to apprehend all inmates, and save the guards held hostage. Plus, the notable Suspects caught in the campaign could be present in the mission, plus if someone escapes it gives way for new missions.

Can we make the squad actually smart? My squad on Sins of the father go into a room and don't clear it. I walk in and get lit up. My men are completely untouched. I also split up my team's to clear Guest rooms, and they get lit up and die. AI in this game is a joke.

I’d really like the “lightly pull trigger to use canted aim” to be on Xbox please.
Your excuse was “PlayStation has responsive triggers” but this is a thing games have been doing on both consoles for years.
Consider perfect dark and it’s different zoom levels (if you want a shooter example). Or racing/driving games with different levels of acceleration.

Secondly, would like zoom scope with no attached irons/red dot.
So then it’s only scope or canted, instead of scope/red dot/canted.

I would love to have to fight female suspects. This game is very realistic but SWAT and police have to deal with everything. I think it would add more realism to the game and maybe some controversy but i think it would be a huge step to making your game even more well know than it already is. the interaction hitbox size for the door trap tripwire is so infuriatingly small and difficult to reach on certain doors

most recent instance is on elephant where i died to a door trap because i discovered one, and tried to defuse it, but it wouldnt show me the defuse tripwire interaction because i was too far away, so i inch closer and closer slowly to try and see if it pops up. I’d love to suggest adding K-9 units to Ready or Not to increase realism, immersion, and tactical options.

K-9s are widely used by law enforcement for clearing buildings, suspect apprehension, and suspect detection, and they would fit perfectly with the game’s realistic SWAT gameplay.
K-9 deployment as an optional squad element

Voice warnings before deployment (e.g. “Sheriff’s Office! Make yourself known or a K-9 will be released!”)

Ability to send the K-9 into rooms or hallways to flush out suspects

Suspects may surrender when warned about K-9 deployment

Risk/reward balance (K-9 can be injured or incapacitated if used recklessly)

Can we also get the AI animations and movements more realistic like COD since you guys said before that you spend over a week recording new animations. The team animations have been broke and sloppy for a long time and since the last update seems worse. They need to be consistent as a whole element and also less robotic and more fluid when them move or stack or in position in a stack or moving. Why are all AI moving mainly backwards in a formation and no one but team lead as player helping with left and right and front focus for cover when moving as a team or with the player. This is so immersion breaking and I have seen smaller teams of game developers do this on other games successfully like Blood Brothers

Revision and Overhaul to current arsenal to enhance realism, balance, and weapon/caliber variety

  • ARWC should have its caliber changed from 5.56x45mm to .458 SOCOM (11.63x40mmRB) and magazine capacity changed from 30 to 10.

Reason: To give players a new, high-caliber firearm that can quickly if not almost instantly incapacitate suspects with a single torso shot similar to how the Mk.V handgun performs. Its real life counterpart also has a variant chambered in said caliber.

  • F90 should be replaced with the AUG A3 M2 NATO (with bolt release) in .300 Blackout

Reason: The F90 was cancelled from being exported to the US in 2019 for “ethical reasons”. The AUG A3 M2 NATO will be a perfect model replacement for the F90 and it also has a version in .300 Blackout and will help diversify caliber options.

  • Raider X P320 should be moved from the PDW class to the Handgun class, thus making it usable with shield. It should also come with a free +1 magazine by default. Its reload mechanism should also be reworked: only upon emergency reloading, the user will use the backup magazine to reload the firearm.

Reason: The Raider P320 was and is overshadowed by previously SMGs and now PDWs in terms of usability and with the addition of the G18C and the Mk V, it’s easily the worst choice for the loadout.

  • M32A1 should swap place with the M320 as the Long Gadget. Players should be able to choose between the three grenade types: Flash/Gas/Sting for it and it should come with a fixed carrying capacity of 2+1 magazines. The M320 should get 3 grenades per +1 ammo in the customization section.

Reason: The M32A1 is the best non-lethal weapon in the game and as such should have some limitation and therefore the M320 should replace it in the primary slot.

I got issue on No Good Deed, I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. I'm doing mission, everything is going fine, when SOMEBODY shoots civilians. There is no hostage taking voice line or anything, no contant, just somebody shoots civvie somewhere on the map. so I can't really do anything

[GAMEPLAY FEEDBACK] In the most recent update the age-old well known “free-lean while walking” bug was fixed and corrected back to its intentional function, although unintentional that single bug is what rooted my love along with many others love for the game. It not only allowed for the MOST responsive leaning experience EVER in gaming, but also allowed other lesser known mechanics such as allowing the player to “stand on their toes” and raise their camera by the same degree as if you were totally stationary during traditional “free-lean”. As a veteran player with most in-game milestones achieved, I truly believe this masterpiece of a game only saw more replay-ability and diversity in the experience from this unintentional error.
Lastly I want to give a possible simple solution without impeding any core game-code, in which ideally would be adding a simple “toggle” between to the two within the options menu. This single addition could allow the original intended Free-leaning system to remain unaffected and the Default.
For the love of God, and this franchise I must stress how much more love for the game my friends and I have developed solely due to this one bug. I created many connections and new friends through this fixed bug. Due to the multiple niche elements the bug had within itself (standing on toes, crouching extra few inches, etc.) it allowed for a more immersive experience in arguably ALREADY the MOST IMMERSIVE game-world created by developers to date. I have never wrote to a development team in my 20+ years of gaming to ask for a bug to be implemented back into the game, but I wholeheartedly hope that this is a testament for my love to this topic and Ready or Not as a whole.

  • Ambidextrous Reload for SR-16 and GA416 [Animation Reworks]
    Both has Ambidextrous Bolt release and yet the game sticks to a generic left thumb press. [BRM5 with weaker engine can do it.]

  • SR-16 first person and third person should do a C-Clamp reload with the URX 3.1 no handguard default. [pinky finger wrapped to the triangular C-lamp, ring finger and middle at the 3 oclock of urx 3.1 panel and index finger at 6 oclock, thumb at the top of 12 oclock rails.] because the third person SR-16 grip looks ridiculous when i tried it the that resulted to more strain.

  1. Attachment Rework [Muzzle Device and Suppressor as Custom overhaul]
    [First Muzzle device options on barrel thread, second the suppressor based off Muzzle Device picked brand]
    Why? Because SR-16 is using a 7.62 QDC Flash Hider which is for SR-25 not SR-16, its QDC 5.56 3 Prong Flash Hider for QDC 5.56 Suppressor variants.
  • Weapon Calibers based on their brand should be on their default Factory Muzzle Device. a SR-16 belongs to default QDC 5.56 3 Prong flash hider for QDC 5.56 Suppressors as example. [I find it embarrassing some gun games can do customization more properly but this game is tagged as realism for its price. So it better live up to its name, Its not easy but diligent work to improve realism of the game even if it will take long.]
  • Full sized Suppressor and CQB suppressors [noticeable flash]
  1. Sound rework
    The sound with suppressors are way too quiet few feet away for a teammate in different POV and replay test. but first person its loud correctly but sound design feels wrong.
    Supersonic crack differentiates from SBR and Mid length rifles with loud BOOM! that rips the air [far away POV it sounds like a fire cracker suppressed or unsuppressed]

  2. Alternative mag vanilla.
    PMAG Gen3 window or solid. [without mod CTD per update]

  • PMAG windowed with unique inspection ammo check.

WML are not aligned correctly. Also would be great if there was Manual gain. Inspect animations when you pull out the 2011 is a bit annoying, would be great it could be skipped during mid firefight by just aiming and not get murdered.

First of all, good job on Boiling Point, truly a work of art. I've been playing RoN since the start and this is by far the peak. You're all getting better and better at developing this game, it really shows.

I solo, pistol only no armor. My favorite way to play, larping as a beat cop. Adding the patrolman outfit was 10/10, thank you so much. There's just one request, can you make it so we can unequip our primaries? Literally all that's left for a proper cop playthrough.
Being able to pick up a suspects gun and use it would also be fire, but I know that's asking too much.

Also I miss the old pistol sway when you look around, that made it possible to shoot behind corners, back in the OG farm days, i might be the only one that enjoyed that gun handling. I've never seen such a thing before or since, it was so fun, and great once you master it. (( I know someone liked it, given the spiral staircase in the old farm, whoever that is, ❀ ))

Oh and buff .45, im tired of only having to use .50 and .357 on hard, surely there's a better way.

New update is realy good but my problem is the toggle canted sight on controller with a scope with zoom. It would be better if you could chose between toggle sight modes while ads with dp left or right.
I prefer to have the ability to turn on light/laser over changing fire mode or toggle canted sight.

Add voice commands to the campaign for the AI to pick up on. I.e you say a command in game chat such as “Stack up” while your facing the door and your AI team then stacks up on the door. This would be continued with a command such as a flash and breach, then the AI would throw a flash in and breach the room.

Add lumen lighting for high end PCs and update the engine

Add a "Cinematic" preset that uses Lumen (with a toggle for software vs. hardware acceleration) and pair it with Virtual Shadow Maps. Currently, the baked-in shadow maps in certain areas, like the Los Suenos Police Station have very low resolution and visible aliasing. The same issue applies to the dynamic shadows (which I believe are cascaded), they look low-res and aliased even on max settings.

Before adding this, however, an engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.7 would be a neat idea. It brings a lot of bug fixes, new features, and performance improvements. The UE 5.3.2.0 version that Ready or Not currently uses was released on November 7, 2023, making it pretty outdated at this point.

For context, UE 5.5.4 brought a lot of RHI improvements, and 5.7 added FastGeo Streaming and GASP for motion matching animations. Implementing motion matching would be the coolest thing ever, especially if you could combine it with chain hit reactions just like the ones seen in the upcoming 0.4 update for Gray Zone Warfare.

Pistols just feel too weak?

Been loving the new handgun you added for the Boiling Point DLC update, and maybe it's just the 9mm ammo, but it just feels so week. Hit registration on targets is almost not perceptible, and those cult ladies in the "Carriers of the Vine" mission sometimes took around 6 shots from it to go down (and that's when I'm using JHP rounds, not AP rounds). Can all pistols be buffed a little? I often like to run missions with just my handgun for fun, but it rarely seems viable.

Just my idea, as I have family members that are active/retired law enforcement with half of those being on a swat/tactical response team. We should get a single player mode and call it “callout” or something where you spawn in with your team and the objective is a house with a barricaded suspect that had some reason for swat to be called out and they have negotiations going on and the suspect may come out, you can 40mm tear gas through and they may come out, make entry and the suspect is inside they either surrender, shoot at you or they shot themselves earlier, it would be up to the player to decide what to do. Just a thought but it would make for a cool quick play option and show some of the real life side without being canon to the story. Maybe a search warrant one would be cool too, just a small random house that would have variations everytime you played where you could search for drugs, weapons or whatever the at the end have a photo of Judge and the crew standing behind a table with the seized items

Base game on console struggles in the replayability factor, as opposed to pc due to their mods and community driven content. Console obviously does not have these and I do not expect console to get these any time soon however I believe the community and game would benefit greatly by map packs being released, the idea being that VOID would release map packs of community made maps every few months which you could enable or disable, akin to how Teardown do it. Obviously they wouldn’t be lore accurate but it would definitely be a boon to the players and player count

I think button remapping should be added into the game. I was in an accident and i can only play one handed now, i play r6 which is somewhat similar to ron and they have button remapping so ive been able to have more freedom and fun to play it. Ron is great but id love to use more of the guns, with one hand it’s easier to use a shotgun compared to an ar which id have to reach across the control to aim then move and aim then to awkwardly use the shoot button. Ive seen that with the dlc the ai are on some seal team 6 timing and i atleast want to put up a fight, button remapping would help me and other disabled players

I think we need a new ak like a nato round or ak alpha. Also on a new america I've noticed that when you incap they get back up almost immediately. The breaching shotgun is a little janky now that the door doesn't completely break and it usually just stay standing up straight after you shoot all the hinges.

Some more feedback on the P2011 and MK-V. The first "draw animation" needs to be contextual as if you dont do it at the start of the match you are stuck using it mid gunfight (ie press checking on the P2011, or chambering a round on the MK-V, with carrying without one in the chamber being unacceptable given the context).
As for the P2011 on top of the first draw animation being the press check, every time you draw it afterwards has this super awkward animation where there is excessive animation of flipping the safety down. This is in comparison to the M45A1 which is a very similar platform ergonomics wise and has significantly less of a delay to use

Now to preface I don't know how difficult actually implementing something like this would be so this might be very naive.

The AI should have a revamped vision system where they start shooting at you only if they can see a set % of your body. This with a set detection distance would work wonders for the balancing of their reaction times. It's really apparent on the new pier map, where you suddenly start getting shot through all the ride handrails from across the entire park.

For example have their detection be set as follows: 50m/80% (from 50 meters if they see at least 80% of your body they'll start to react). This would make it so the enemy will still see you if there is nothing between you, while also giving you some breathing room where you're not getting sniped with a pistol like you're facing Chris Kyle when one pixel of your body is visible through 15 different props.

I really like the shield mechanic for commander mode with your officers being able to use it, but for S rank I normally want to give their main gun more ammo instead of the pistol handgun that doesnt really do much compared to say like a taser, I wish officers could use tasers if their side arm had no ammo and they used it like that instead of just holding out their empty fire arm and walking in and getting killed.

But you guys should make it where headshots are an instant fold like how it was in the Adam update. The really over the top animations for headshots are pretty ugly and immersion breaking. Most of the animations are ok and the ragdoll after the boiling point update looks a lot better but those headshot animations just gotta go. Maybe just start with a fold animation then instant ragdoll. And just always have it do that instead of cycling through ugly animations. Feedback would be so much better.

With Firewall Ultra shutting down later this year, there's going to be a LOT of tactical VR players suddenly looking for a new home.

One of the biggest reasons Firewall worked so well wasn't just the gunplay — it was the round-based 4v4 attack/defend mode where teams took turns trying to secure or defend a single objective (like hacking a laptop).

It created insanely tense gameplay:
‱ Clear objectives
‱ Short, high-stakes rounds
‱ Team coordination actually mattered
‱ Attackers had to push smart
‱ Defenders had to hold angles and manage positioning

Ready or Not already has incredible tactical mechanics, communication, and realism — which honestly feels like the perfect foundation for a similar competitive mode.

A potential idea:

👉 4v4 Tactical Objective Mode (Round Based)
‱ One team defends a point (for example a laptop / evidence terminal / control device)
‱ One team attacks and must secure / interact with the objective
‱ After each round, teams swap roles
‱ First team to X round wins takes the match
‱ Limited respawns or no respawns to keep tension high
‱ Smaller, tighter maps or sections of existing maps

This kind of mode would:
✅ Bring in displaced Firewall players
✅ Add long-term competitive replayability
✅ Create strong squad identity and teamwork
✅ Open the door for leagues / ranked play / esports style formats

Right now there really isn't a true successor to Firewall's core mode in VR or tactical shooters — and Ready or Not could genuinely become that game.

Flashlights and lasers really need an option for separate keybinds. When I need to use white light rapidly to see the crackhead in a dark corner I'm not looking to hold the activation button to scroll twice because I was using a laser 30 seconds ago. You really can't compress the functions under one overengineered "all attachments" bind when they serve a different purpose and need to stay ready to use in a gunfight. Two real functions, two buttons needed. Thanks. It's nice to finally have them both.

i would love to have the option to have two slots for tattoos (left and right arm) as most only have the one arm or are very small in design which are hard to see as the new tattoos are some of the best we have had so far this would also give a bit more personality to each officer/players

Suggestion: the regular, full face seal gas masks and SOTR gas mask should be differentiated from each other. Similar to how the dual binocular NVGs are different from the quad binocular, ground panoramic NVGs.

There should also be an option to wear both the SOTR gasmask with Anti-Flash Goggles at the same time. You could further balance this by making it so the SOTR gas mask provides full respiratory protection, but, doesn't protect the eyes. As it doesn't create a full face seal like the other, regular gas mask options.

A lot of tactical goggles aren't completely sealed for the purpose of user comfort and to prevent fogging up so, by wearing both at once, you could gain both Flash and (respiratory) Gas protection. However, walking into CS gas, pepper ball smoke or pepper spray, will still affect your eyes. And of course, the gas mask would still block the usage of the Ballistic Mandible.

Feature Request: Left-Handed / Southpaw Option

I wanted to suggest a feature that could improve immersion and accessibility for a portion of the player base.

As a left-handed player, I’ve always noticed that Ready or Not (like most shooters) only supports right-handed weapon handling. While I’ve adapted over time, it would be amazing to have a “Left-Handed” or “Southpaw” toggle in the settings.

This could include:
‱ Mirrored weapon handling and animations (left-hand dominant)
‱ Option applied to both the player (Judge) and AI officers
‱ Toggle in gameplay or visual settings

Some games, like No Man’s Sky, already have a handedness setting like this, and it makes a big difference for immersion.

This wouldn’t affect gameplay balance, but it would allow left-handed players to feel more connected to their character and playstyle.

I know this would require animation work, but I wanted to suggest it in case it’s something worth considering in the future.

Would anyone else be interested in a feature like this?

QoL Feature requests for Commander Mode Ai Officers


just a headsup, i don't play Multiplayer, so no idea if you have AI there to fill slots and if it could be used there too in that case and i'm still kinda new and play max on "standard" difficulty to get used to the maps (and because i read hardcore is currently just AI aimbot dilemma as well)

  1. officer role loadouts
    currently you can set a loadout to the active team slots (self, alpha...). personally what i'd like to see as well is being able to set default loadouts to roles, because in like the early missions where you have no / barely any armored suspects i tend to take officers with roles like pacifier, intimidator etc. and outfit them with non-lethal gear.

later on i change more to roles like armorer, paramedic, SBAGS or veteran which more often than not also carry lethal equipment instead (sometimes with non-lethal sidearm).

with role loadouts i could just switch between mission and teammates on the spot via table / tablet and they'd already have the gear i want for them without the need to go over to the locker and manually adjust it again

Edit: in a working way maybe have a "default" dropdown setting in the team related loadout menu (self, alpha etc.) which means that it uses the role-related setting and if you choose to change the loadout for e.g. alpha to a different one you overrule that default setting (e.g. to try out something new for a specific mission)

  1. instead of firing officers, sending them back in the pool (reserve) / have an option to reroll the pool of recruits?

i find it a little weird to completely fire an officer and have if affect morale of the other members if he has a trait i don't like (e.g. the default guys). technically the guy didn't do anything wrong but i'm just looking for someone else (or when i just want to see which roles are available in total regarding rerolling the pool) so he could serve a different fictional unit instead.

currently the only way i see to "naturally" let them go without firing is failing some missions to increase stress enough to have them go to therapy and at some point leave on their own, but that feels somewhat wrong too (and takes time).

all roles probably have their use depending on playstyle, but e.g. something like "kicker" is pretty much never used by me (except on accident) because i use the mirrorgun to spot for traps and if i open the door and know a suspect is there i can as well open the door and have the weapon already drawn to react (no matter if lethal or non-lethal)

I’m liking the update. Some much needed fixes. I’m on Xbox.
Few notes:
-texture issue doesn’t seem to be fixed. Palm trees and such still appear as a bunch of weird untextured polygons. I know this and the lighting was specifically addressed recently, so I’m pointing it out.
-can we please get the canted system on Xbox, that PlayStation supposedly has? Where “half pulling” the left trigger will bring the weapon to canted point shooting, a full pull of the trigger does ADS.
It’d help a lot in making the gameplay smoother.

An alternative quick way to melee would be great for when you’re rushed.
Holding B is really unnatural and kind of useless.
-can we get to use the new respirator with flashy goggles? (Since eyes are still exposed).
I know it’s just cosmetic, but it’d be cool. Maybe take a slot of something else for the trade off?

Om Hard difficulty, the suspects are side strafing while firing in full auto with zero penalty to accuracy and at a much higher speed than reasonable. As such, I want to see this completely removed. The suspects should move from cover to cover and only fire in short 3-round bursts or semi auto while on the move with much less accuracy.

[Flashbang Effective Radius]

Flashbangs should stun targets through cover unless it's a solid wall.

I just had a flashbang deflagrate within 5 feet of a suspect, but because he was taking cover behind a couch it had no effect.

Only solid walls and closed doors should protect against flashbangs within their effective radius.

[Suspect Reaction and Behavior]

Suspects have an inhuman reaction, and control for recoil. I could silently open a door while a suspect is fully turned around, and immediately get 750rpm to the face. Considering that Judge can't fully control the recoil for most guns, some of the same guns that suspects use, and he's a veteran FISA and SWAT operator, these suspects shouldn't have Champion R6 aim.

E.g. I'll get cross-room sniped by a gas station robber in a diner if my character half steps into view with prestige accuracy before I can even round the corner. (This is on normal mode, mind you)

And Hard mode is even worse; yes, it's hard mode, but they have split-second reaction time that not even a Navy SEAL could replicate.

[SF10 gas mask anti-flash lenses]

Balance is why flash protection and gas protection is seperate, but a convenient and real addition would be an option to run anti-flash lenses on at least the SF10 gas mask.

The SF10 gas mask was used British SAS, notably with some use of anti-flash lenses. Being able to run anti-flash with at least the one end-game reward mask would be a cool gimmick (with some history behind it), and having it on all of the masks would just make for less of an awkward hassle.

Hi Ready Or Not Community, hope everyone is doing alright; I would like to share a couple game update Ideas that I think would be good, and want to put it out there.

I was wondering if it would be possible to implement voice recognition in Ready or Not, allowing players to issue verbal commands directly to suspects. Being able to say commands like “Get down!” instead of relying on a button would significantly enhance immersion and realism.

I understand that this may not be feasible, but I wanted to share the idea in case it is something worth considering. I truly enjoy the game as it is—thank you for your continued effort and for creating such a great experience.

Add a Setting to Auto skip the Equipment after restarting a mission

So after quick restarting a mission the countdown was instant 10sec wait till in the mission now everyone needs to ready up again and again everytime and for achievement runs oder you die dumb and dont want to change anything and just back in the run its pretty annoying to ready up everytime so would be nice to add a setting in the multiplayer section where you can toggle to just skip this part and go back to the normal 10sec countdown

(Also in Singleplayer its annoying i just want to get back in fast and not click ready up again so toggle would be cool yea)

I have an idea which I believe could really enhance the gameplay experience of ready or not making it more immersive and enjoyable. The game itself right now is currently my favorite game. However the only thing I was disappointed about was no option to use my real voice to command civilians and suspects. Adding an experimental feature of using your real voice to issue commands to the AI would be amazing I have several ideas for how that could be implemented but either way I would love to see this addition into the game.

Hunger Strike (specifically) is now next to impossible to pass due to the very much heightened hostage-taking and executing behavior. Pretty much as soon as suspects know SWAT has arrived, especially from the parking lot entry by the van, they execute people upstairs before it is physically possible to reach or stop them. The use of suppressors has not mitigated this behavior either. It's unclear to me whether the suspects are treating SWAT arriving a floor beneath them as "getting too close" or if they are simply acting as full-blown active shooters now.

Feature Request : adding a prison DLC

so a cartel smuggles guns into the prison and over 100 prisoners are out (you will only be doing one cell block of the prison and there would be like 25 prisoners and 5 cartel members so 20 prisons 11 of them armed and 9 of them with shanks or unarmed) and a lot of them escaped but the LSPD and FISA blocked off the tunnel that they were using so it turns into a barricaded suspect so it would kind be like the bank but in a prison environment. (the community could come up with the rest or you)

[Cross-Play] Feature Request: Lobby Codes - I have noticed when trying to play with new people that there is a semi-awkward phase of trying to friend the person of either Steam or Epic or etc. and it can become tedious. A neat QoL addition would be having private lobbies generate a unique lobby code that can be shared to other players so they may enter that code in-game to join instead of going by the friend system. Feature request: Specifically, I would like to propose adding the tactical sprint ability to lower armor layers, such as Kevlar and ceramic plates, to allow for better mobility when using lighter gear. Additionally, it would be great to see an option for an additional front pouch or functional vest pouches. These could provide players with the ability to carry more magazines or tactical gear, such as flashbangs, adding another layer of depth to loadout customization.

this week i came back to the game after about a year or so not playing and starting all of the dlc together i had not been able to enjoy was in a big way disappointing to put it lightly in terms of how horribly bad the solo experience is now in commanding an effective team. i looked for others who had the same issues as to be sure i wasnt just imagining the now broken command system in the solo play sessions. i do not play online with other people in most games and especially ready or not as i dont particularly enjoy those interactions in games when what i am looking for is to relax and immerse myself into a well done game mode where solo is effective & rewarding.

solo command was so well done i could not say enough about how enjoyable it was and how effective i could immerse myself into the detailed and tactical methodical swat roleplay it offered. but the command system and ability to play opt the game with the ai team mates is something now completely opposite and broken compared to what it was before and from what i gathered in looking for others if they had the same issues started about 6 months ago. i cannot express how deeply disappointing the system somehow was broken in the ways it was and the ai team mates becoming at times clueless and ineffective to complete the flow of commands and at times not respond to commands at all or leave you in a position where you are killed by the failure of your teammates to engage in close quarters and even ignore enemy engagements as the entire team is being mowed down by aggressive and accurate enemy ai. the enemy ai being challenging and aggressive was something which made the implementation of the command system and how well you could piece the breach and clear of a building the most rewarding fps experience for me i could find. im not sure how this absolute failure to preserve the working condition of the team mate ai has happened and i only complain so heavily because of how good the team had done in solo action.

Please make a statement on the achievement tracking glitches, I know I may be a small part of the community but as someone who understands the game and mechanics at a high level it really feels defeating putting all this time into a game and simple things like tracking a achievement doesn’t function I’ve completed all the missions on hard, S ranked everything and now played through the new DLC I don’t even want to bother attempting the new achievements because why should I? The achievements will probably just bug out. What else is there do for someone like me who has played every mission 50-70+ times and unlocked every cosmetic and used every gun besides achievement hunt. And that doesn’t even function. The game has become extremely stale for that reason and I really hope that we can make a statement or just fix them because I’ve lost all interest in a game that can’t even fix core level backend tracking not to mention the numerous amounts of bugs that are seen by most players

Maybe just add on a new tab in career section called achievements, so for “getting your sea legs” or “from house to home” you can see what is or isn’t done on RoNs side instead of the console/steam side. I hope this makes sense as this could be implemented as some type of tracking fix for the achievement bugs

I am not a game dev but in my mind this should work? Because it seems the tracking from console for example, to the actual games code isn’t connecting so if RoN has its own achievement tracking tab it may be easier for them to unlock/track?

I just picked the game up for the first time a week ago.

I am loving it but I am completely underwhelmed by how absolute shit the swat ai is. I often have to risk myself to protect them from getting shot even if they have a ballistic shield on, often getting myself killed in the process of babysitting them.

I have them wear full steel and ballistic shields for complete protection and they can still get gunned down by a mob with just a vest and a pistol if they attempt a one on one.

I'm relieved to hear this sentiment about horrible swat ai but I'm not really surprised at how bad they are. I really hope something changes soon cause I'm starting to feel like I wasted my money; especially when I try my best for over an hour only to get killed because of my stupid ai companions and then have nothing to show for my efforts. Getting an S rank has also become a nightmare and damn near impossible when every member of my team is letting me down. These are supposed to be the most elite of police units and they act like rats in a maze.

I think it would be really cool to have more missions similar to the settings of 23Mbps, Ends of The Earth, Twisted Nerve, and Dorms where you are serving a warrant/operating in a populated area, where you have to be careful to ID your targets due to civilian presence.
I think maybe something like Thank You, Come Again but on a larger scale could be really good for this. Maybe a botched robbery at a mall or large shopping center would be really cool for this.

Also, I think it would be cool to have a manhunt mission, something like suspects fled into a forest, the area has been closed off and you are sent in to chase down the maybe like 5-7 suspects. But there’s also a missing officer you have to locate, and maybe some hikers.

Audio is complete dogwater. Even with the settings perfect, you can't tell if someone is above, below, left or right. Get it together, Void. Maps like elephant are the absolute worst for this reason. Hear someone screaming? go in direction of screaming: empty room, civilian dead. Where did the gunshot come from? who knows. go a floor above or below in the direction of the audio, more empty rooms. Not even a dead civilian. and why? because you're using an audio engine from the early 2000s.

Something I would like to see changed if possible but my dumb ass will still try to get it now is the requirements of one of the achievements on the new dlc boiling point it requires you to complete a new America alone in multiplayer on hard due to how OP the AI is on hard difficulty maybe changing this to a standard run the fact you have to do this solo on hard is a bit extreme and I do believe this would still be a challenge even on standard but the fact a lot of the times your not even able to react before the AI drops you with these insane pixel peaks is unfair yeah i get it if your barging into a room thinking your playing call of duty then yeah fair one but if AI has been purposely programmed to be unfair on hard then changing this to a standard would be great 😁

We need the Team Ai reworked for situation awareness and life preservation. They also should have a quiet entry mode like Swat 3 and dynamic made since they yell too much and alert the whole neighborhood! I like to see better animation for walking and crouching from the team AI as well

I’d like to suggest the addition of a replay mode for the console versions (Xbox and PlayStation).

This feature is already available on PC and would be extremely valuable for console players as well. It would allow us to review missions, analyze decision-making, improve team coordination, and even create cinematic content.

I believe this addition would greatly enhance the overall experience and longevity of the game on consoles, as well as strengthen the community.

Is your POV supposed to be this disconnected from your actual hitbox? When you free lean max down your ingame camera is on ground level, while your actual model/hitbox shows you are just crouched. Fixing the enemy AI on hard I do believe this needs to be fixed because you get dropped so quickly without even being able to react when your anchoring door ways and corners, now every game has difficulty challenges I get that but there is a big difference between Feir and unfair or something just being unlucky I believe that the hard AI on this is unfair how am I ment to learn from my failures when I’m getting aimbotted, when the AI comes round the corner and within a fraction of a second they are pinpoint accuracy yeah I get it if you’re standing right in the open with no cover fair one but when I’m doing everything to keep as much body mass out of sight of the enemy also having steel full body plate armour on to get 3tapped I find it ridiculous, and a great quality of life would be to fix the broken AI on hard difficulty đŸ€™

Pistols aren’t really in a good spot at the moment. Their draw isn’t all that fast compared to just reloading, and even if you leave off attachments to minimize length they’re useless to try and draw when a suspect is too close for your primary to be able to fire.

I strongly agree with the need to improve enemy AI. I don't expect much from friendly AI. However, enemy AI immediately detects even the slightest opening and fires with accurate aim.

I would just like to say from the previous comments here that the hard AI is completely fine (I have S ranked every mission with the bots, played every mission on hard with the bots, I have the developers ruined watch, S ranked A New America with the bots, and also got the handcuff.) The games AI is really easy once you learn how to free lean and flash corners to bait out or force AI to rotate into worse positions. The only thing that needs worked on if you actually want to make the game harder is making suspects more aware of flanking route.

It’s really easy to wedge off routes once you know map layout and basically stronghold your way through each map. Now that’s not to say the Hard AI still has some moments (i.e. lucky one tap headshot, infinite ammo?)

I think some also that could help in a new America would be once you kill an enemy you can interact with the comms radio on the dead guys body. Hearing the enemy say “flanking” “stack up” “going in” makes the game extremely predictable once you understand how the AI moves. I think having to “hack” into the comms and then being able to hear those call outs makes it more of a challenge.

I would also like to say I like the direction of a new America storyline wise and the gameplay.

But with that, this game is still a SWAT game going back and playing the other missions made me realize I stopped telling people to get down and just started blasting therefore hurting my rank. (Possibly intentional as you had to learn this from replaying new America so many times) but I think we need to keep in mind that for the next mission now we have to be careful to keep the line of not being a Tier 1 unit of door kickers vs SWAT caught up in a absolute mess where a city doesn’t have enough resources and uses D platoon as a spearhead. I don’t want the game to lose that identity. I’ve paid a lot more attention to the games lore and love the clues (detective board)of the overarching story reminds me of OG COD Zombies

Also I don’t know who works the story department but I see you with Judge and all the little clues you’ve been doing in missions and in the department over the course of the game for the last year. I wondered when that room in dark triad was going to come into fruition. Whoever is creating that storyline you’re actually cooking, the 2 endings of A new America got me hooked on the hidden story I’m just interested to see how far you can really keep this narrative without it being extremely unbelievable. Remember we still have to load into that HQ every single time so the jail ending juxtaposed with just spawning back at HQ was kind of strange. The other ending made more sense as he answered a radio call to leave.

Anyways who ever is creating that story line great job! It’s so cool that you guys are working towards a bigger story. The issues with these games are that there’s always a big story told over small missions with no substance or small missions w stories but no overarching big story connecting them. You guys are doing both so seriously great job!

RoN devs it would be great to add more missions to the campaign. An exception for another dlc would be like house raids and stuff and I’m thinking like atleast 10+ missions were it ranges from just search and arrest warrants to drug raids, high profile arrests, hostage situations, rescue operations were we had to rescue fellow cops or civilians.

No sorry I have to strongly disagree I should of been more specific on what needs changing the achievement for completing a new America alone in a MP lobby on hard difficulty witch results in you needing to fight hard enemy AI overall in solo game, how can the enemy AI be completely fine when the moment you got a pixel of the enemy in your line of sight when they are not even looking in your direction to automatically become aware of your presence to then drop you in a mili second? just because you completed missions on hard getting S rank congratulations by the way that does take time and commitment but so have i đŸ€ that doesn’t mitigate that the AI is broken yes I’m using free lean keeping as much of my body in cover but when the enemy just runs round the corner and immediately 1 tap within a mili seconds when your hold that position knowing that they are about to come around the corner sorry that is not fine gameplay and how are you ment to analyse what you did wrong you can’t

I am a believer in being able to take a step back analyse what went wrong when failing on any game looking back at what you could do differently but with these AI at the moment it’s not possible, everyone saying on the guides you just have to keep replaying until you get lucky on RNG spawns to me that sound like bad AI only 4 people on PS have unlocked the trophy and considering I’ve been trying to do this achievement now for a couple of days and every time I’ve been dropped is due to AI chatting absolute bollocks

Face and Voice, quickplay.

I feel that you should be able to customize the player and teammate face and voice in quick play for player freedom reasons. It’s always a bit of a bummer when I’m unable to put a balaclava on when I’m not playing with friends or solo.

AI more responsive when being shot.

Often when I shot suspect into the leg (unarmored) with fiveseven or g18c they should feel it..anyways they act like nothing is going on with 0 stagger or anything.

We are talking about repetitive being shot to the leg ..

Immersion is dying without details like this, even when I land hits they go down or something happen to them after solid 5 6 shots.

Plus I'm shield operator. WEAPONS DO GLITCH TROUGH SHIELDS!! that's big no no and dumb in a way. Becuase my weapons go up,but theirs weapon glitch and kill me trough shield .

Suspect with knife acts like there is no shield at all in the way..

If another dlc is planned I think it should be like house raids and seizing illegal items and not just 3 missions in the dlc I’m thinking like 10+ missions of all these house raids and reasons ranging from stash houses, drug and weapon running, open warrants, hostage situations, break and enter, false reports, terrorists and all sort of things. And range of suspects since these are just house raids some of them don’t need multiple enemies I reckon some of these missions might just have 1 or 2 person to arrest and other missions having multiple suspects

I think the ai should get a few reworks like how when they split a door they should be holding shoulders and also a few commands re added for example "flashbang and clear with leader then move and clear next room" or if theres two rooms you want to split red and blue team to clear there should be a way to make them open and clear the like intersection of it (for example the 2 rooms infront of you after getting up to the first floor in a new america

The Devs should fix a very annoying issue that got me killed multiple times, when the suspects rush around a corner and are face to face against myself, they can shoot and my guy can't, keeps his weapon pointing upwards.

This is supper frustrating when they appear out of nowhere and you can't shoot and die because of this idiotic behaviour. Either none of us can shoot or I can shoot as well as him.

in multiplayer please let us leave the lobby when the host restarts the mission, the only option you have is to ready up so i have to wait until the mission starts again if I want to leave the lobby, makes it even annoying when others not readying up and you're stuck waiting 2 minutes... and i dont want to alt+f4 everytime, thanks!

We need more missions added to the campaign, I love the work you put into the game, being in charge of a swat team is really fun and I always find myself replaying the missions, but at this point of replayed them too many times to the point where I know where the enemies are on each map and where to go. More map ideas I have are more house raids I very much enjoy going in and execute high risk search and arrest warrants, taking down drug running and weapons operations or even hostage situations.
Please consider this for the next major update. Another idea I have is that if you were to bring out a dlc make it only house raids and not just 3 missions like every other dlc, make atleast 7+ and range them from what I listed before

another suggestion that was made and alot of us agree on it is the speed of the characters, alot of our players deaths happen because they are trying to run for cover due to low health or ai aimbot shooting through walls and just somewhere to really readjust themselves and its like "my nan walking to go put her teeth back in" kinda speed. i feel like there should be improvements on this made. ive heard from alot of other groups and players that have complained about the walking speed.

Improvements on AI teammates behaviour and loadout saving mechanic

I'd be extremely grateful and even more driven to play this game to its full extends, dlcs and so on, if this the AI revived a new patch, every time I play the game the AI behaviour gets in the way of a proper playthrough, they are either bumping into you (crossing the line of fire, instead of going behind you), getting stuck on doors, not clearing intersections properly (turning their back to an open door with a suspect to clear the other corner and dying), maybe the walking speed is connected to this a little, but I believe if the AI was somewhat more structured, we wouldn't be so frustrated having to repeat a 20-30 minute missions again and again because our teamates died because of something outside if the player's control. It's also very frustrating when you want them to clear with you but stop at a certain point, they don't need to go all the way to the end of the hallway and get separated or start clearing every room by themselves. There are other issues, specially when you give them an order and they don't do anything or don't shoot the suspect.

Another huge point of frustration that keeps people from enjoying this game are the loadouts disappearing, it happened before the update and still happens, there are so many things to configure on the equipment loadout and there's 4 teammates you can configure too, having them be deleted because you were trying to replace another loadout is beyond frustration and has made me quit the game for a while.

I understand it's really complex to have an AI behave like real people or similar to the controls you can give in games such as doorkickers, but the squad is a small team of 4 people for huge ops and I'd like to see my teammates actually be competent, because right now they feel horrible to play with and very stressful, this way I wouldn't have to give up and try to complete the level all by myself or be forced to play multiplayer.

AI changes on both sides. Some suspects AI that have no military experience in the game right now seem to know how to hold guns. I mean tweak some suspects, depending on factions in game, to shoot the guns like some gangsters do irl, either with one hand sideways for pistols and rifles being held by suspects not on the shoulders but shoot like they never shot a rifle before. Even some terrorist groups and cartel members shot rifles without holding them on their shoulders, there are some videos on this. This will add more to the realism aspect of which faction you are facing where a security detail has more experience on using guns than a gangster or crack head that barely shot any gun.

Another aspect is the AI swat: they will get them selves shot instead of shooting back, plus they will risk their lives for that evidence that is like in a threshold with the risk of exposing themselves or when clearing a room they don't even cover the hotspots of the room and instead they might face a wall instead of facing the open door where danger might come from, really fix this they don't have even self preservation.

So, got some big complaint on either/and suspect behaviour (and some of the animations) and the map Greased palms,

For context, I am currently doing a dual achievement run on clearing all maps on hard and on ironmanmode, I have over 140 hours in this game already and am quite accustomed to all of the game mechanics etc by now, and this is neither my first tactical shooter or shooter in general, while not some Esports pro I am quite well in shooters in general including the tactical genre.

Now, not a dev person, but difficulty scaling can certainly be done differently, there are some severe issues with suspect and SWAT AI behavior, and just, the mission greased palms in general. Now yes, hard mode is supposed to be hard, I'm not complaining because It's "too hard" but because theres some just blatanly messed up/buggy/unfair aspects with these issues such as;

-Suspect AI being able to track you perfectly through solid objects and hitting you with absolute percision; through objects, while running, after 180° turns, e.g
-SWAT AI insisting on yelling for compliance for a good second or two (which can decide life or death) instead of returning fire despite taking fire (outside of this, It could also be neat and useful to have an option for a quiet run, because sometimes, they ruin trying to sneak up closer on suspects by yelling and alerting them from far away, resulting in you taking hyper accurate fire from long range, which ADDITIONALLY suppresses you ontop of being so accurate)
-Suspect AI being able to see you through the smallest and littlest of gaps between objects, that the player couldn't conceivably do the same through (combined with the tracking issue, this makes Greased Palms EXTREMELY unfair)
-Civilian AI for some reason backing AWAY from SWAT and towards suspects
-Suspect AI being able to go from the stalling animation/when you're yelling at them to drop their gun, to pointing it straight at your head and shooting, sometimes WAY faster than the average human reaction time (with perfect aim)
-Suspects in general having PERFECT recoil control during sustained AUTOMATIC fire, even while MANEUVERING/RUNNING
-Near ALL suspects being somehow able to telepathically coordinate with each other like a tactical team either
-No indication WHATSOEVER where you're being shot from leading to even more frustrating deaths

In general believe a more dynamic difficulty scaling of suspect groups would've been better (makes sense for Veterans to have tactical sense and better aim, but not some random crooks/mobsters to the same level), the easy, medium, hard feels a bit "videogamey" for a tactical shooter, not to mention aforementioned issues with Greased Palms map design coupled with the mentioned AIs problematic abilities. But regardless, even for a "challenge" this goes above and into just being very unbalanced.

I have an idea for a DLC. It's a 3 mission break down. Ok so check it out. The President & VP are on their way to Los Sueno to show that they stand with the people & acknowledge that things must change to save the city.
Mission 1 (Aftermath) After the events of "New America" the governor of California has a convention set up at either the Los Sueno Convention Center (LA Center) or either the Lakers Play or the Clippers play to give a speech. Unfortunately hostiles lay siege on the building forcing the governor to seek shelter & wait to be rescued. Objective: Save the governor. Save civilians. Bring Order to chaos.
Mission 2 (Airport [LAX]) The VP was ambushed enroute to the governor & cannot leave. Secret Service is being overwhelmed & need immediate assistance! Gas bombs from the pier mission are in the area. Objective: Disable the bombs. Save the VP. Save civilians. Bring Order to chaos.
Mission 3 (Air Force 1). Air Force 1 has been damaged by an sleeper agent airline employee & cannot take off. Secret Service is stretched thin between protecting both the president & VP. National Guard is on the way but D Platoon is the best team for the job. Nuclear launch codes may be compromised if the terrorists get there hands on the president. Objective: Save the president. Bring Order to chaos. Call the DLC Election Day & release on the 4th of July or November. What do you think? I would love to hear your input on that. I play on Xbox & my gamertag is CallSignLegacy. Great job on this game & I can't wait the next DLC or even Ready or Not 2. I vote Chicago for the location 😆. Peace.

  1. Please remove the weapon reload from the weapon selection button. I'm tired of dying from misklik...
  2. Please disable the primary weapon animation if there is an enemy in the player's field of view. It's a cool animation, but not when you've run out of ammo in your main weapon and you urgently need a sidearm.
  3. It would be great if we could skip the animation of the mission result. The game is quite hardcore, you often have to start over. These 10 seconds of shame are very upsetting.

[Customization]

[Added Variety]

1.) For some of the vests (E.g JNTO Trickster, Sly Low Visibility Vest, Dynamic Plate Carrier, etc) it feels like it's lacking in equipment?? I do get their descriptions and for what they're supposed to do. It just feels like a bit more could be added to their slots so that it wouldn't feel bland. Yes, I'm also aware that there's a mod to add those said customization options but, it would be nice if I didn't need to constantly replace the mod file after every update.

2.) To my knowledge, the BDRTAC must be the only heavy vest that utilizes the digital desert camo. Although, the FPC Plate Carrier also utilizes the same camo, I think a variety in the BDRTAC just like the plate carrier could go a long way for other players. So that they would enjoy the heavy vest without making an outfit that (probably) solely relies on the desert pattern.

3.) I remember seeing some people asking for a hoodie in the shirt slot in the customization, and I think that's also a good addition. Just so people wouldn't feel constrained to either; A polo shirt, a polo, a tshirt (not to be confused with the Speed hoss short/long sleeve), and/or a rash guard. Again, I'm unfamiliar if SWAT units are even allowed to have those in their departments when conducting their operations.

4.) Speaking of civilian wear, a different style of polo and polo shirt would be nice. We're only limited to 3 styles for each category and having to constantly pick the polo (because it has better options for customization), as opposed to picking the polo shirt where the player can either go black, brown or Hawaiian kinda gets repetitive. And same can be said with the tshirt (again, not to be confused with the Speed hoss short/long sleeve), as it is the only variant that shows up in the customization option.

couple QOL requests for SWAT commands:

  • add Open, Leader, and Clear to default door commands list
  • add Ram and Clear to default locked door commands list (why is it not already there?)
  • If Open, Leader, and Clear is active on a doorway, and the Close Door command is issued, cancel the Open, Leader, and Clear command and revert back to Stack Up. Currently, if you do this, the pointman will close the door and then immediately reopen it again, which is unhelpful.
  • add Open, 9-Bang, and Clear to default door commands list
  • add support for queueing quick/default commands so I don't have to open the menu
  • add an option in settings for "default Fall-In command" e.g. Diamond, Double Stack, etc

one more thing - please make clearing double doors so that a split stack will move through simultaneously instead of single file. Dynamic entry through single doorways isn't terrible but double doors are incredibly slow. Maybe change them to buttonhook?

it would be really nice if SWAT made a bigger priority of following tightly/closely when the player is moving slowly. It's understandable for them to trail behind when moving quickly or covering large areas but there are many times I want the swat AI to stick to me like butter like they would in say, rainbow six 1998, and something like "hold the walk button" would be a really intuitive way to signal that without adding more commands. Currently, when holding walk, all AI officers slow their roll, regardless of distance. the guys in the back should try to catch up if they're not close.

Suggestion to just, change the "difficulty system" mechanic, because It just feels wildly out of place in a game like Ready Or Not that's supposed to be a tactical shooter/Police sim type of thing, and just scaling all suspects across the board doesn't make any logical sense, as in for them all to be on the same level, It breaks immersion, and hard mode with the way AI works currently and a bunch of bugs just is not even "hard" anymore but flat out humanly and realistically/statistically impossible to beat, because basically the suspect AI just turns into Delta Force operators on speed with the unwillingness to surrender of Hiroo Onoda

It would much more make sense to have things such as, compliance, coordination with other suspects, aim/percision, tactical/situational awareness be scaled differently acocrdingly with each mission and suspect group;

It doesn't make sense for low level thugs robbing a gas station to have the same aim and tactical team coordination as combat veterans like that of the Left Behind for example

It also wouldn't make sense for some enforcers/crooks to have the same unwillingness to surrender with 5 guns pointed at you, as If they're one of the radical terrorists from "The Hand" that already intend to kill and die as martyrs, or for some security personnel to open fire on the cops without hesitation, or much less fake a surrender and try to pull a sneaky gun once they know It's real cops

You have all this nicely established lore and background for all the different suspects and suspect groups, the briefings before a mission with info on the tablet, It all sets a stage and expectations for what you're about to go into, and I for one think the suspect difficulty should reflect that, by having some missions/suspect groups just be inherently easier/harder than others, and better/worse in certain categories; i.e More/less compliant/willing to surrender, more/less accurate, more/less situationally aware; (MLO/Left Behind vs drug addicts), coordination with other suspects less or more, willingness to take hostages and KILL hostages,

On that latter, I also think It makes no sense for MOST suspect groups to just take a hostage, hold them for human shield to stall out SWAT and force you to take a well aimed shot.... then just execute the hostage... giving up the only shield they had from you and giving you every reason to shoot them... going against the whole point of taking a hostage

The Programmed Psychosis achievement is just not fun or fair. In full heavy armor with a ballistic mask im still getting 1 shot and on hard mode the Ai just almost always knows exactly where you are. Its not fun to play a team based strategy game completely solo when you combine that with having to clutch a 1v26 with a bunch of ai that are basically using wall hax and aimbot. Can we get it tweaked to normal or a tweak to hard mode to make it less unfair like maybe make the ai either less omniscient or make damage not be 10 times what it is on normal

Make the mission score recap screen skippable this screen is very annoying when youre doing something like grinding programmed psychosis or other difficult achievement attempts and every failed run you have to wait on seeing it total your score you already know is an F.

I understand suspects and some civilians but in a level like a new america why do civilians never surrender from a swat officer screaming get down at them over 5+ times. It seems like civilians wont get down unless you melee them. This is very annoying and doesnt really add to the challenge much outside of a level like "all gods burn" where there are a ton of civilians and suspects that look identical. those civilians i also can understand cause theyre protestors that are there to make things difficult but why are journalists and office workers not listening to the command until you either punch them or execute a suspect infront of them.

  • Improve SWAT AI coordination in single-player (stacking, clearing, and reacting more naturally)
  1. Gear & Equipment Expansion
  • Add more optic and attachment variety (LPVOs, magnifiers, IR lasers, etc.)
  • Even if full licensing isn’t possible, similar in-game equivalents would add variety and realism
  1. Deeper Customization
  • Gradually expand weapon and operator customization (inspired by systems like Ground Branch)
  • More modular setups for gear (vests, attachments, etc.) to increase player identity and flexibility
  1. Loadout & Armor Options
  • Consider replacing or supplementing stab vests with chest rigs or alternative load-bearing systems
  • Could allow different trade-offs (mobility vs protection vs equipment capacity)
  1. Operator Variety
  • Adding female operators (especially for COOP) could increase representation and player choice
  • Understand this involves additional modeling/voice work, so more of a long-term idea
  1. Map Variety
  • While CQB is the core strength, introducing a few larger or longer-range engagement maps could add variety
  • Even hybrid environments (interior + exterior engagement zones) could work
  1. Experimental Game Mode Idea
  • A defensive scenario where SWAT holds a position (e.g., a station) against overwhelming hostile forces
  • Could be a high-intensity mode that tests coordination and resource management without affecting core realism modes

Some of these ideas may not align fully with the current design direction, but I hope a few are useful or worth considering

Hello, I’d like to share some feedback about the current state of Ready or Not on console.

First, the AI still feels inconsistent. Sometimes enemies seem to react unrealistically fast or appear to know the player’s position even through walls. It’s not as broken as before, but it doesn’t feel as polished as it did previously on PC. Since AI is a core part of the experience, improving its behavior, reaction time, and detection logic would make a big difference.

Second, playing from South America, the online experience is limited by high ping (usually around 80–100 ms or more). This affects co-op gameplay noticeably. It would greatly improve the experience if there were dedicated LATAM servers or better regional matchmaking.

Third, the amount of content feels somewhat limited for long-term play. Expanding the game with more maps, missions, weapons, and customization options would help a lot with replayability.

Additionally, it would be great to see:

  • A female character option, including appropriate models and voice lines, as female SWAT operators exist in real life.
  • More gear, cosmetics, and tactical variety that also impacts gameplay.
  • Continued support with meaningful updates that improve both gameplay and content.

The game has a lot of potential, but these areas would significantly improve the overall experience, especially for console players.

Hello, I was looking into some of the training options you can do from singleplayer, and the one shown is very beginner-focused. I would like it if there were an option to have a more advanced training or a customizable training ground with AI enemies.

For PS5 and Dualsense controllers (also kinda the new steam controller)

There needs to be an extensive overhaul to control layout, incorporating the touchpad and directional swiping would help by a considerable amount

I say this as someone who has 140ish binds on warthunder (on PS5 originally with a dualsense but now with a dualsense edge; binds number only has increased by around 5 with the dualsense edge) I do this to avoid wheels and lists whenever possible so that way when I need to do x thing I just do it. This should the underlying design principle around the controls for at least the dualsense

Also fix gyro aim it has some sort of angular velocity cap (to make an anology it would be like playing CS2 using a mouse at 1600 DPI at 1.6 ingame sens but then having it so if you move the mouse beyond 32cm/s it just stops increasing you aim speed) that makes you so unbearably slow

please I'd like this issue to be looked into:
RoN has this strange bug for me where I can't run the DX12 version headless on my GPU that DOESN'T have a monitor plugged into it so that I can use Lossless scaling to utilize BOTH of my GPUs effectively. Instead it ONLY runs on the one the monitor is directly plugged into. I've tried everything from windows graphics settings to set the GPU, to Driver per application priority to even setting engine.ini files but NOTHING works. the DX11 does work flawlessly though which is strange to me. I've even changed the windows exploit settings but nothing worked. Devs please fix this. i've got a 9070 xt and a 2070 super this is the ONLY game that has this issue so far and it is my understanding that the devs themselves have to address this specific issue.

Suggestion Co-op AI Teammates: Please add an option to fill the squad with AI SWAT members when playing multiplayer with just one friend. Currently, if there are only two of us, we have to clear the whole map alone. Being able to bring the "crew" into co-op would make the tactics much more realistic.

Shopping Mall Mission: Instead of more school maps, an expansive shopping mall or department store mission would be incredible. Navigating food courts and multi-level stores while managing civilians would be a top-tier challenge for solo players.
Official "British Suits": Please consider adding official Wolf Grey CTSFO uniforms and SCO19 patches for Xbox. As we can't use PC mods, having these "unblurred" tactical skins would be a major win for your international fans.
K9 Support: A K9 unit to help find civilians or track suspects would add a much-needed layer of tactical depth for those of us playing without an AI squad.

The bots’ long-range shots never miss—every single one lands on my head or body. Even when I shoot at an enemy from a great distance while their back is turned and they clearly haven’t seen me, the moment I fire they instantly spin around and hit me with perfect accuracy.

I’ve already reported this issue multiple times via email asking for it to be fixed, and now I’m posting here as well. Please address this problem.

I’m trying to achieve an S rank on all missions on Hard difficulty, and honestly this is around my 300th attempt. Yet because of this issue, I still can’t complete this mission. The bots’ perfectly accurate long-range shots make it impossible to progress.

It feels like we’re just a gang while they’re Delta Force. I can confidently say even Delta Force doesn’t shoot this flawlessly. Every single bullet they fire lands as if the bots are using cheats.

Something that I would love to be added to the game is Unity risers with space for an optic and a PEQ unit. For some weapons like the MK-18, the added height over bore would be beneficial to the overall sight lines of the weapon, and it would add another degree of customization. When the riser would be equipped, then the overbarrel option would just stick whatever you put in that slot on the riser, and the illuminator would stay the same. The system wouldn't really be much more complex, and an added degree of realism would accompany this change. Not to mention, I would like to have one for micro-dots on some SMGs as that would lift the optic up slightly so that it is easier to use with irons.

Adding the ability to add patches to the game would also be really cool. FISA, POLICE, BDRTAC, MARSHALS, Country flags, etc. would be a great quality of life addition. Players would be able to more realistically change their kits to match their playstyle and/or vibe they are going for, and some morale patches would also be fun for devs to add in order to mess with players or follow popular trends.

Please look more into Squad AI.

I just finished all maps S Rank and getting all enemies cuffed made me realize there are more issues than I was aware.

If I say "Bang and Enter" they do that, but afterwards I have sometimes 4-6 suspects sitting on the ground and the squad is either still sweeping or standing at some points and not arresting anyone.
Then I issue commands to arrest some and sometimes they just stand there and dont do anything.
Sometimes I move on and was not aware that they just follow without issue the command and we got attacked from behind.
That AI issue was a nightmare in the first room of the Bank Mission!

And for the love of me, fix the AI throwing grenades. These are trained elite police men and I cant count how often nades were lobbed at my feet, at door frames, etc. These guys cant throw things in rooms reliably.

But I really hope that the next update wont be content, but Quality/Health.

The achievements are tedious and not working. So either we need crystal clear parameters for it or idk whats missing. They should be fun. And not frustrating.
Squad AI really needs work.
I commanded them half the day. They often dont execute commands, get stuck in animation, then get killed, because they are stuck and dont fight back, grenades are luck, etc.
You surely know it.

And please recheck old animations. Its nitpicky, but its immersion breaking, that one shotgun has that weird reload, where the hand magically produces shells and not reaching to the belt, or so.
And front grips should be used. Why put them on, when the hand reaches elsewhere? New attachments get used, so I guess its a habit on not rechecking older things.
I really hope the game gets more polish.

I would like to share some points regarding the current state of the game, as I see great potential, but many mechanics currently feel more frustrating than tactical.

A small suggestion beforehand: Take more inspiration from the SWAT series and try to make the game more realistic and detailed overall. The focus should be on believable tactics, understandable AI, and fair mechanics – not on giving opponents artificial or unrealistic advantages.

Currently, there are several issues that negatively impact the gameplay experience:

You can walk through civilians, but not properly past teammates. This feels technically inconsistent.

Light sources from teammates sometimes shine through walls.

Civilians often react illogically or too passively. Features like sending hostages/civilians away or restraining them with cable ties or tape would add more tactical depth.

The shield currently offers more disadvantages than advantages:

For example, you can't drop a light stick while wearing the shield.

The NPC AI also desperately needs improvement. Currently, NPCs often simply do what they want, rarely react in a logical way, or completely ignore situations. The developers could take inspiration from games like SWAT or Payday, where AI and team behavior are significantly more believable.

The behavior of the enemies is particularly striking: Even on the easiest difficulty setting, enemies sometimes don't surrender at all – even after being shot, tackled with the shield, and yelled at. This feels neither realistic nor fair.

In addition, the lighting and shadows are often unbalanced. Some areas are extremely dark, while others are overly bright, making enemies sometimes barely visible.

Currently, weapons that support offset optics can only use offset iron sights. I would like to suggest allowing compact red dot sights to be mounted on offset rails as well.

This would provide a practical solution for designated marksman and long-range weapon setups. For example, when using a high-magnification optic (such as a 12x scope), transitioning to a side-mounted red dot is significantly faster than switching to a sidearm when engaging targets at close or medium range.

Many real-world rifles are configured with offset red dot sights specifically for this purpose. The feature would improve both realism and weapon customization while giving players more flexibility without affecting game balance.

A good example would be maps with large open areas, where players may need both long-range precision and rapid close-range target engagement during the same mission.

  1. The taser and raider x p320 should get moved to the pistol category.

  2. Also the Ak47 should get a more recoil reduction. I believe we missed that part of the update.

  3. would it be too much for us to customize our own weapon of choice? Alongside one or two LMGs just to add more fun factor to the game.

4, Buff the ammo capacity for the Trpl pistol. 6 rounds isn't enough. Maybe 12-16. It seems unnecessary to use when utilizing the weapon unless as a primary.

  1. Def increase the ammo capacity for the TPL smg. 12 rounds isn't enough either. 16-25 sounds more fair to the non lethal runs.

As a female player and content creator, I wanted to submit a constructive suggestion for future updates: the addition of at least one playable female SWAT officer, complete with dedicated female voice acting.

Since the game heavily prioritizes realism and authentic law enforcement procedures, reflecting the real-world diversity of modern tactical units would be a fantastic step forward. Real-world SWAT and federal tactical teams do include women. Adding this representation would deeply enhance immersion....not just for female players and creators like myself who want to represent accurately in content, but for the entire community looking for an authentic tactical experience.

Even starting with a single voice pack and character model would mean a lot and add great variety to the tactical roster.

For the supporter edition This post (#announcements message) says they are the same. However the website says that you get the Frist expansion, soundtrack, and your name in the game credits. On the steam DLC page it doesn't seem to indicate that you will get those perks. The Steam listing seems to only have the skins; basically the FBI HRT pack. Hi, after my first mission I have a little bit of feedback although I'm sure you're aware of these things already. first off audio is amazing, especially C2 and flashbangs/stingers. visuals are great but maybe the flashlight ambient lighting could use some work - when panning across a wall the light seems to look almost 2d. friendly AI animations could be a little smoother - otherwise what an amazing experience! have been waiting years for somebody to have another go at this genre and you guys have really done a great job so far. keep it up! very happy customer here 🙂

Only 2.2 hours into the game so far. The one glaring thing I see so far that I think needs tweaking is the civilian kill penalty, especially on active shooter missions. The team score should not get penalized for the suspects murdering civilians, that's the whole reason it's called an active shooter. The only time a penalty should be issued for a civilian kill is 1. you or your team kill a civilian, 2. you kill a hostage while trying to kill the shooter, or 3. you let a suspect kill a hostage when you have the ability to stop the threat. A penalty should not be issued for the team especially if they civilian(s) were dead prior to arrival.

So far I haven't been disappointed with the game and it does a good job replicating the magic of swat 4. However, there are some faults I noticed on my initial playthrough.

  1. Lack of weapon information: It's hard to tell what weapons perform better in certain situations. A rate of fire, damage, penetration, overall dps, spread, and recoil would all be good information. This extends to weapon Attachments as well. Also it would be good to be able to chose between bullet types such as fmj or hollow points.

  2. Lack of utility information: Alot of us know what the opwand does but videos and tutorials for the player demonstrating the need for these tools would be helpful for new players.

  3. A better briefing system before the round where we can see the layout of the map and pick an entry point.

  4. Dynamic ai: I know in real life someone can be shot and still move due to adrenaline but this should not be the norm and if im shooting someone who's running they should at least stumble a little. I also don't know if there are hostages that secretly have weapons but that would be pretty cool

  5. Better maneuverability. It would be nice to sprint or run in a gun fight since it's an option the ai has.

  6. Unnecessary point reductions: for example I used the wand only to find a flash bang trap on the other side of the door. Since it was on the other side we set a charge and ignited it from far away as to not disorientate ourselves. Then entered however we still got minus points for setting off the trap even though we where left unaffected.

  7. Customization: though it is an early access build it would be nice to see better character customization in the face and outfits

  8. Moving hostages: let us move hostages out of the way.

  9. Interaction with armories: it doesn't make much sense that you need to go to 3 different stations for customization one for gadgets and weapons, one for character customization, and one for Attachments. It should just be one station.

Theres Only one Downside that I do not like, Its the Fact that Suspects have instant kill aim, Yes Instant Kill Aim, I literally peeked into a door and immediately died, Despite the fact I was wearing the Super helmet and Super Armor thats suppose to protect you and to prevent this type of dying from happening and it still happened. And Weird as hell times where the AI literally strafes and shoots at you and theres nothing you can do but Die because they are super fast, And Tone down the Pistol AI their Aim is insane, I watched one chick with a Pistol Wipe out my entire team 3 times on the Meth lab map from the 2nd Floor window.

  1. When your team is down, you need to do everything alone? Maybe you can add e respawn at the SWAT vehicle where you need to go, then you can respawn your teammates?

  2. Maybe add a thing in the escape menu, that you can extract and stop with the missie and that you get still XP. Now you don't get any XP when you click on stop.

Really like the game. Great work! I have one point that id like to give feedback on => Some suspects are running directly to you with a gun. That seems kinda odd to me. I dont think in real life someone just runs into police arms with a gun equipped. I would like to see them faking to cooperate and than trying to shot you. That seems more realistic in my eyes than trying to run through the swat team with a weapon in the hand.

AI reflexes/accuracy needs tweaking

As other have pointed out many times already, the main way the game can improve is by tweaking the AI.
Suspects have very quick reflexes, and are extremely accurate in their shots. Their reactions to unforeseen situations is on par with military trained operators, and not very realistic for a random civilian with a gun.

When suspects go from idel to agressive, very often the shooting starts before the animation is even over, making it hard to drop them before they open fire.

In the settings, the reload and fast reload keybinds are inverted. So if I want to reload normally without dropping my mag, I need to bind the fast reload key.

9mm goes straight through walls, which is fair and valid, no complaints there...much.

Clutter the maps
Some maps like the gas station seem a bit bland due to a lack of believable clutter. If you remember from SWAT 4, the maps were grimy and disgusting as hell. On the restaurant map there was rotten food, cans and small props everywhere.

Right from the get go, I would like to say that all these years of waiting has been worth it. The gunplay and physics of the firearms, absolutely impeccable, the devs have really done an amazing job.

Not sure if this is possible, but please please improve UltraWide support. The game is currently using Vertical Negative, which means it cuts the top and bottom of the display to give and stretches the rest to fit the 21:9 resolution instead of simply showing you more on the sides.
